AI agent for hospitality: answer guests, book your services, take the deposit
Answer guests on your channels, book the services and experiences you sell, take the deposit and leave the follow-up scheduled, without depending on front desk hours.
What does an AI agent do in a hotel or a travel business?
Meteor connects the channels where guests write to you with the calendar for your services, with your CRM and with your payments. On that base, an AI agent answers at any hour: it handles the questions that always come up, shows the slots genuinely free for the spa, the tour, the restaurant or the experience you sell, books in the guest’s name, takes the deposit with a payment link and confirms it landed before blocking the service, leaves the reminder scheduled and hands over to the front desk when a person is needed. If your operation also rents vehicles, it answers availability by dates and location with the price of each class and creates the full reservation. What it does not do is connect to your property management system: room availability, rates and check-in still live there.
Questions and bookings tied to front desk hours?
These are the bottlenecks costing your hospitality operation the most sales and time.
The services you sell, booked and paid for inside the chat
Answer guests on your channels, book the services and experiences you sell, take the deposit and leave the follow-up scheduled, without depending on front desk hours.
Before and after
From the same old bottlenecks to a real advantage
Questions arrive at all hours and the front desk cannot always answer.
Support on WhatsApp, Instagram, Messenger and the chat on your site, with no hours.
Spa, tours and restaurant booked by phone and written down by hand.
Slots genuinely free and a booking in the guest’s name, rescheduled in one step.
Deposits you have to chase before the service can be blocked.
A payment link in the conversation and confirmation of the charge before blocking.
Conversations that start from zero every time the person on duty changes.
The guest stays a contact with their tags and notes, and the handover carries them.
The solution
How Meteor automates your hospitality operation
Answers on your channels, at any hour
It replies on WhatsApp, Instagram, Messenger and the chat on your site, and leaves every conversation on record with its tags and internal notes.
Bookings for services and experiences
Spa, tours, restaurant or any service with a duration and a price: the Met shows the slots genuinely free and books in the guest’s name.
The deposit taken inside the chat
It generates the payment link and confirms the money landed before blocking the service. The money and the card details go through your gateway, never through the conversation.
The guest’s bill
Quote the service, record the payment and check receivables from the chat, without opening the accounting system.
Vehicle rental
Availability by dates and location with the price of each class, the real extras (insurance, GPS, child seat) and the full reservation with the customer’s details.
Before and after the visit
The reminder is scheduled and goes out as an approved WhatsApp template; the handover to the front desk leaves the note written so nobody repeats the conversation.

The limits
What Meteor does NOT do in hospitality
We would rather say it here than have you find out during implementation.
-
It does not connect to property management systems, booking engines or channel managers. Room availability, rates and check-in stay in your system.
-
Meteor Scheduling does not sync with Google Calendar or Outlook, and does not charge for the booking on its own: the payment goes through the connected gateway.
-
It does not book on behalf of a third party. The booking stays tied to whoever is writing, which is what keeps reservations out of the wrong name.
-
With Cal.com, moving a booking means cancelling it and creating another. One-step rescheduling only happens on the native calendar.
-
On vehicle rental, the Met reads availability and creates reservations, but it does not cancel or modify one that already exists, and it does not sign the rental agreement.
-
It does not send bulk messages. Reminders go out one at a time and as an approved template, because outside the conversation window WhatsApp only allows templates.
-
It does not store or process card details, and it does not issue tax documents. It generates the link and reads the result.
-
Alegra does not file or void electronic invoices on its own, and Meteor does not replace your accountant.

Questions about Meteor in hospitality
No. There is no integration today with property management systems, booking engines or channel managers, so room availability, rates and check-in still live in your system. What the Met does operate is everything booked as a service: spa, tours, restaurant and experiences, with their duration, their price and their hours. We say it here, not in the fine print.
From the services you declare in Meteor Scheduling (what can be booked, how long it takes, with which resource and during which hours) or from the event types you already have in Cal.com. The Met reads availability between the dates the guest asks for and books at the exact time that lookup returned, without rewriting the hour, which is where time zone errors creep in.
It generates the payment link with the amount and the description and sends it on the same channel. The charge and the card details happen inside your gateway, never inside the conversation. The Met then looks the payment up by its number and confirms it is approved before treating the service as blocked.
Yes. With HQ Rental the Met searches availability by date range and location with the classes and their prices, offers the extras you actually sell (insurance, GPS, child seat, additional driver) read from your own list, and creates the reservation with the customer’s details. What it does not do is charge for it, or cancel or modify a reservation already created.
The Met hands over, and that is the right way to escalate: in a single step it leaves an internal note with the summary and the reason, flags the contact as waiting on a person, assigns it to whoever should take it and steps out of the conversation. The front desk opens the chat with the full context instead of starting by asking everything again.
