How does LobbyPMS connect to Meteor?
Meteor connects to LobbyPMS, the Colombian hotel PMS, and gives your Met 5 tools, all read only: rooms, bookings, guest invoices, sales channels and the catalogue of extras. It is the first hospitality connector in the catalogue and it is IN VERIFICATION. The routes of the PMS are confirmed, but the exact shape of their responses is still being mapped against real hotel accounts. Until that mapping is finished the tools return no data. They answer with the detail of what is still missing, and the Met is instructed to say that the integration is still being wired up rather than invent what the PMS did not return.
Where it applies: Colombia. LobbyPMS is a Colombian PMS, used mostly by hotels, hostels and glampings in the country. The token is per property, so each hotel connects its own.

Finish the verification with your own hotel
This is the real flow today, and it is not theoretical. The hotel generates its token, loads it, and the Meteor team maps the responses of that account. The first hotel to do it is the one that shapes the connector for everyone else.
Answer about rooms and bookings without opening the PMS
Once the mapping is done, the Met will answer which rooms exist and which bookings are recorded by reading them from the hotel system, instead of a list typed into a prompt that goes stale within a week.
Look up the state of a guest account
Invoices are the most delicate of the five resources, because they are figures somebody pays at the front desk. That is why they are the last to be signed off: one badly mapped field here is money charged wrong.
Know what the hotel sells besides the room
The catalogue of extras (restaurant, minibar, services) is what makes it possible to answer what can be ordered and at what price, without anybody keeping that list outside the PMS.

The limits
What the LobbyPMS integration does NOT do
We would rather say it here than have you find out during rollout.

It returns no data while the contract is in verification. The tools answer with the detail of what is still to be mapped, and the Met is instructed to say so rather than fill the gap on its own.

It does not create, change or cancel bookings. The five tools read and nothing else. Booking, moving dates or cancelling is done in LobbyPMS.

It does not run check in or check out, assign rooms or hand over keys.

It does not charge. No payment links, no payment records and no closing of a guest account. That still goes through whichever payment method the hotel already uses.

It does not confirm availability yet. Answering "is there a room from the 12th to the 15th?" requires filtering bookings by date range, and that filter is one of the pieces still being verified.

What you need to connect LobbyPMS

A working LobbyPMS account
The hotel has to be running on LobbyPMS already. The connector reads what is in that system. It does not create the account or load the room inventory.

The hotel API token
The hotel generates it itself, with an administrator user, under Settings, Users, permissions and API, View Token. It is per property, and Meteor cannot generate it for you.

The Meteor IP allowed, if you use IP restriction
LobbyPMS can limit a token to certain addresses. If your hotel switched that on, the outbound IP of Meteor has to be registered in that same panel or everything answers with an authentication error.

Questions about LobbyPMS and Meteor
You can switch it on and connect your token, and that is exactly what helps finish the verification. What you cannot do yet is lean on its answers: while the mapping is open, the tools report what is missing instead of returning data.
We confirmed that the five resources exist, but the LobbyPMS documentation sits behind an account, so we could not read what its fields are called or how they are filtered and paginated. Closing that requires the token of a real hotel.
No, and it is written into its instructions. If a tool answers with the unverified contract notice, the Met says the integration is still being wired up and offers to pass the request to the front desk. It does not fill in rooms, rates or balances.
No. The five tools are read only. Creating or changing a booking, checking a guest in and charging are still done in LobbyPMS or at the front desk.
The token answers with an authentication error until you allow the outbound IP of Meteor in the LobbyPMS panel. It is the most common reason a perfectly valid token fails.
