Calendly and Meteor AI agents

Connect Calendly to a WhatsApp Met: offer open times, book the meeting, send a single use link and cancel meetings with the official MCP.

How does Calendly connect to Meteor?

With the Calendly ready connector, your Met uses Calendly's official MCP server on your account, authorized once with OAuth. On WhatsApp it can list your event types, check the open times of one, book the meeting on behalf of the customer with their name and email, or send them a single use scheduling link if you prefer they choose. It also lists booked meetings, returns invitee details, marks no shows and cancels a meeting if that action is on. Booking directly from the chat needs a paid Calendly plan; the single use link works on any account with event types.

What it automates

What a Meteor Met does with Calendly

Book the meeting inside the chat

The customer asks for a meeting. Your Met checks the open times of the event type, offers the ones Calendly returned and books the meeting with the name and email the customer gave.

Send a single use link

If you prefer the customer to choose in Calendly, or your plan does not allow booking through the API, the Met creates a single use link and sends it on WhatsApp.

Answer when the meeting is

When the customer asks, the Met looks up their booked meetings and replies with the date, time and location or video call link.

Cancel and offer new times

With cancelling turned on, the Met cancels the meeting the customer can no longer attend and offers new open times to book another one.

We would rather say it here than have you find out during rollout.

Before you start

What you need to connect Calendly

  1. 1

A Calendly account with event types

The account you schedule with in Calendly, with at least one event type created. Booking from the chat needs a paid plan.

  2. 2

    Connect it in Met

In Met go to Connections → Calendly → Connect. You sign in to Calendly and authorize access. Calendly does not accept personal tokens for its MCP.

  3. 3

    Decide which actions stay on

The workspace admin chooses which actions stay on. Cancelling meetings starts turned off.

Frequently asked questions

Questions about Calendly and Meteor

No, if your Calendly plan is paid: the Met books inside the conversation. On the free plan the Met sends a single use link and the customer picks the time in Calendly.

Not in a single step. It cancels the meeting, if that action is on, and books a new one at the open time the customer chooses.

It should not: times come from Calendly, which already removes your busy blocks and applies your event type availability rules.

You do, with your Calendly account and plan. Met does not charge for the calls your Met makes to Calendly.
