AI agent for distributors and wholesalers: WhatsApp orders backed by your ERP
Your Met identifies the customer, answers list price and per-warehouse stock by reading your system, builds the quote and chases overdue invoices, without the route depending on each rep’s phone.
What does an AI agent do for a distributor or a wholesaler?
A distributor sells along routes and the order arrives on WhatsApp, usually the night before delivery. Meteor connects that conversation to the system where your prices, inventory and receivables live: SIESA, Alegra, Siigo Nube or Odoo. On that connection, an AI agent identifies the customer, answers their list price and per-warehouse availability, builds the quote and sends the link to the document, and in Alegra repeats a regular customer’s order from their last invoice. It lists overdue invoices and sends the collection reminder on WhatsApp, one at a time and as an approved template. If you also sell on Mercado Libre from a WooCommerce store, it keeps price and stock aligned, and if you ship with a carrier, it quotes the shipment at the rate the carrier returns. What a WhatsApp Met does not do is invoice or record payments: in Alegra, Siigo and Odoo those actions stay in the web platform, with approval, and the SIESA integration is read only.
Do your orders live on each rep’s phone?
These are the bottlenecks costing your distribution and wholesale operation the most sales and time.
The route order, handled with the real data from your system
Your Met identifies the customer, answers list price and per-warehouse stock by reading your system, builds the quote and chases overdue invoices, without the route depending on each rep’s phone.
Before and after
From the same old bottlenecks to a real advantage
When a rep leaves, their customer history leaves with them.
Every customer stays in the CRM with their history and assigned rep.
Price and stock answered from memory.
List price and per-warehouse stock read from your system when answering.
Orders retyped from the chat, with data entry errors.
The quote comes out of the system with real products, quantities and prices.
Collecting an overdue invoice depends on someone remembering.
Overdue invoices get listed and the reminder goes out on WhatsApp on schedule.
The solution
How Meteor automates your distribution and wholesale operation
List price and per-warehouse stock, live
The Met reads the data in your system at the moment it answers: the price list that applies to that customer and the stock per warehouse, instead of answering from memory.
The quote inside the conversation
In Alegra, with its link to the formal PDF; in Siigo Nube, with the public link the customer opens without an account; in Odoo, with explicit confirmation before writing.
“Same as last month”
With Alegra, the Met opens the customer’s last invoice, which comes back with every line and its product, confirms current price and stock and builds the new quote without anyone retyping a list.
Receivables and credit before selling
With SIESA it answers whether the customer is current and how much credit is left; with Alegra or Siigo it lists their invoices with a balance and since when.
The collection reminder on WhatsApp
Overdue invoices get listed and the reminder goes out on WhatsApp on the agreed date, one at a time and as an approved template outside the conversation window.
Marketplace and shipping
It keeps price and stock aligned between your WooCommerce store and Mercado Libre, and quotes the shipment at the carrier’s real rate.
Integrations
The systems your distribution and wholesale operation already runs
Price, inventory and receivables live in your ERP or accounting system; shipping lives with the carrier. The Met reads them from the conversation and each one keeps its own data.

The limits
What Meteor does NOT do in distribution and wholesale
We would rather say it here than have you find out during implementation.
-
A WhatsApp Met does not invoice, record payments or create draft invoices: in Alegra, Siigo and Odoo those tools are reserved for the web platform, with approval, and it is not an option that can be switched on.
-
The SIESA integration is read only and needs technical groundwork with your IT team. Not every installation exposes the same lookups: if yours does not expose receivables, the Met cannot answer them.
-
In Alegra, quoting does not create the customer: if the person writing does not exist yet, they have to be created first.
-
The Met’s reminders go out one at a time. To reach many customers at once there is Broadcasts: a Meta-approved template, a segment built from tags or contact fields and a messages-per-minute cap that protects the line.
-
With Mercado Libre, the WooCommerce store is the source of truth. The Met does not answer buyer questions inside Mercado Libre or manage its fulfillment.
-
It does not pick the carrier or the rate for you: it shows what each one returns and your team decides.
-
It does not replace your accountant or close the books.

Route orders stopped living on personal phones
A food distributor sells to restaurants, hotels and neighborhood stores along fixed delivery routes. Orders arrive on WhatsApp at any hour, and usually the night before the route runs.

A veterinary retailer sells through its own store and Mercado Libre. The challenge is not merely copying a catalog: price, stock, category and compliance have to stay aligned without touching listings the company already managed elsewhere.

A platform connecting food markets and wholesalers to end consumers reached launch with a finished product and no traction. The problem was not the technology: it was making noise with a small team and a commercial window that does not come back around until next year.

Questions about Meteor in distribution and wholesale
SIESA (read only), Alegra, Siigo Nube and Odoo for prices, inventory, quotes and receivables; WooCommerce and Mercado Libre if you sell on a marketplace; and TCC, Skydropx, Aveonline or Chilexpress for shipping. Each connection has its spec sheet with what it does and what it does not.
It builds the quote with the real products, quantities and prices from your system and leaves it ready. Turning it into an invoice, confirming the order in Odoo or recording the payment is done by a person in the web platform: those tools do not run from a channel.
With SIESA, yes, if your installation exposes receivables: the Met checks that customer’s credit limit and receivables live. With Alegra and Siigo it lists the customer’s invoices with their balance.
It lists overdue invoices and sends the reminder on WhatsApp, one at a time and as an approved template. The payment is recorded from the web platform, not from the conversation.
Yes, if your catalog lives in WooCommerce: the Met lists, recalculates the price with the channel fee and mirrors stock. It only operates listings that carry your managed SKU.
