The limits
What the HQ Rental Software integration does NOT do

It does not charge or process payments. It creates the reservation with its charges, and collection runs through whichever gateway the operation already uses.

It does not sign rental agreements or handle the legal paperwork of the rental.

It does not cancel or modify a reservation once created. The available tools read and create. Changes are made in the platform.

It does not create or update customers. A reservation requires an existing customer_id; a new record or correction is completed inside HQ Rental first.

It does not manage fleet maintenance beyond reading the status and mileage of a vehicle.

The operation preconfigures category_id, customer_id, brand_id, locations, vehicle_class_id, class name, price and currency. OTA availability publishes no response structure to discover them.
