Amazon Selling Partner and Meteor AI agents

Connect your Amazon Seller Central account to a Met: review inventory, sales and problem listings and fix what you find with Amazon's official MCP.

How does Amazon Selling Partner connect to Meteor?

With the Amazon ready connector, your Met uses the Amazon Selling Partner Connector, Amazon's official MCP server, authorized with your Seller Central account. It does not bring one tool per task: it searches for the SP-API operation it needs, reads its schema and runs it as a read or as a write. That way it can review inventory and days of supply, read sales and traffic metrics, find out why a listing is suppressed or not buyable and, if writing is on, fix the attribute or price you tell it. It only reaches what the Seller Central roles of the person who authorized allow. It does not move money or file support cases on its own.

What it automates

What a Meteor Met does with Amazon Selling Partner

Warn which products will run out

A scheduled task asks the Met for FBA inventory and sales velocity, and the Met tells you which SKUs have the fewest days of supply and how much to reorder.

Find out why a listing is not selling

You give it the SKU or ASIN and the Met reads the listing status with its reported issues, to tell you whether it is suppressed, missing an attribute or has no buyable offer.

Fix the listing with writing turned on

With call_write_tool turned on, the Met applies the fix you tell it on the attribute or the price, with the right merchant ID and marketplace.

Summarize the week's sales and traffic

The Met queries sales and traffic metrics for the marketplace you choose and gives you a summary with the numbers Amazon returned, without made up figures.

8 tools

Each one is a real action in the connector. You can switch off the ones you would rather it never used.

The limits

What the Amazon Selling Partner integration does NOT do

We would rather say it here than have you find out during rollout.

Before you start

What you need to connect Amazon Selling Partner

  1. 1

    An Amazon Seller Central account

The account you sell on Amazon with. The person who authorizes needs the Seller Central roles that cover what you want the Met to do, because the connector does not go beyond them.

  2. 2

    Connect it in Met

In Met go to Connections → Amazon Seller → Connect. The Seller Central consent opens and you approve access. No credentials are pasted into the chat.

  3. 3

    Decide which actions stay on

The workspace admin decides whether writing stays on. If you only want reports, leave the read tools on.

Frequently asked questions

Questions about Amazon Selling Partner and Meteor

Because Amazon's connector works as a gateway: the Met searches for the SP-API operation it needs, reads its schema and runs it. Behind it there are inventory, listings, metrics, orders and FBA inbound shipments.

Yes, within what your account has. Each call carries your merchant ID and one marketplace, and the Met works on one at a time so it does not mix numbers from two countries.

Only if writing is on, and to the price you tell it. The connector does not decide prices by itself.

You do, with your seller account. Met does not charge for the calls your Met makes to Amazon, and Amazon fees are still those of your account.
