How does Easyship connect to Meteor?

With the Easyship ready connector, your Met uses Easyship's official MCP server on your account, authorized once with OAuth. It gives your Met 13 tools: it compares couriers with your account's discounted rates and delivery times, creates the shipment with the addresses and the package, buys the label, tracks the package with its estimated delivery date, books the pickup and summarizes your charges and shipping volume. That way it answers on WhatsApp how much shipping costs and where a package is. Quoting and tracking are free; buying a label or booking a pickup uses credits from your Easyship account, and canceling a shipment starts turned off.

What a Meteor Met does with Easyship

Quote a shipment while the customer asks

With the destination address, weight, dimensions and contents of the package, your Met checks the available couriers in Easyship and replies with the cheapest and the fastest option, with their delivery times.

Create the shipment and buy the label

When the order is paid, the Met creates the shipment with the addresses and the package and, if create_label is on, buys the label for the chosen option and gives you the link to download it.

Book the courier pickup

The Met checks the courier's available slots for that shipment and books the pickup when your team can hand over the package. Booking it uses credits from your account.

Answer where a package is

The customer asks about their shipment and the Met tracks it in Easyship: it tells them its status, when delivery is expected and what the latest events were.

Summarize the month of shipping

For whoever runs the business, the Met brings the account's charges and credits, the shipping volume for the period and the couriers you used most, without opening a spreadsheet.

Each one is a real action in the connector. You can switch off the ones you would rather it never used.

`track_shipment`	Shows the tracking status, the estimated delivery date and the latest events of the package.
`update_shipment`	Fixes or changes details on a shipment before it ships, such as the recipient's phone.
`cancel_shipment`	Cancels a shipment that is not in transit yet. Starts turned off.
`get_pickup_slots`	Shows the available time slots for the courier to collect a shipment.
`create_pickup`	Books the courier to collect the packages. It uses credits from your Easyship account.
`list_pickups`	Lists the pickups you booked, by date or by status.
`list_transactions`	Reviews the charges and credits on your Easyship account for a period.
`analytics_shipments`	Shows how your shipping volume changes over a period.
`analytics_top_couriers`	Ranks the couriers you used most by shipping volume.

The limits

What the Easyship integration does NOT do

We would rather say it here than have you find out during rollout.

It does not ask you for confirmation in the chat before writing. The admin chooses in Connections which actions stay on: with create_label and create_pickup on, the Met can buy labels and book pickups that use credits.
It does not pay for labels or pickups. They are deducted from the credits in your Easyship account, at your account's rates.
It does not pick up or deliver the package. Easyship creates the label and tracking; the courier does the pickup and delivery.
This page does not promise the address validation, customs documents or tax calculation that Easyship announces: Easyship does not publish the names of those tools.
It does not weigh or measure the package. It quotes with the weight and dimensions you give it; if the real package is different, the courier can adjust the charge.
It does not replace your store integration. The Met works on the shipments in your Easyship account; if the order lives on another platform, that part goes through its own connector.

What you need to connect Easyship

An Easyship account

The account you ship with in Easyship, with credits to buy labels and book pickups. Easyship does not charge extra for its MCP server.

Connect it in Met

In Met, open Connections → Easyship → Connect. You sign in to Easyship and authorize access. There is no key to paste into the chat.

Decide which actions stay on

The workspace admin decides whether create_label and create_pickup, which use credits, stay on, and whether to turn on cancel_shipment, which starts turned off.

Questions about Easyship and Meteor

No. According to Easyship, quoting, listing shipments, tracking and analytics queries are free. Credits are only used when you buy a label or book a pickup.

Yes. If the Met creates the shipment without buying the label, it stays as a draft, and the label is bought later with create_label when the order is ready.

Yes. Easyship is built for cross-border shipping and announces tax and duty calculation for more than 200 countries and territories. The tools on this page quote, create and track those shipments.

Yes. According to Easyship, your account's shipping rules, rate preferences and automation settings apply the same way to shipments created through its MCP server.

Because Easyship announces 25 tools, but its announcement only names 13. This page lists the ones with a published name, so it does not promise one we cannot verify.

You do, with your Easyship account: the labels and pickups you buy. Easyship says it is free for up to 50 shipments a month. Meteor does not resell the service.
