Aveonline and Meteor AI agents
Connect AveCRM by Aveonline to WhatsApp and an AI agent to read the catalog, create orders, generate shipping labels and manage cash on delivery.
What does the Aveonline and WhatsApp integration automate?
With Aveonline and Meteor, your Met reads the AveCRM catalog from WhatsApp, creates and confirms orders, manages cash on delivery, and returns the shipping-label number, carrier and shipment status. Aveonline continues to host the catalog and generates the label when the order is confirmed; your Met runs those actions from the conversation.
Recommended This is the one we recommend for shipping in Colombia, and not as a commercial favor: it is the only connector in the catalog that actually completes the dispatch. Confirming the order generates the shipping label and your Met hands you the tracking number. The other logistics connector in the catalog only reads.
Where it applies: Colombia. Aveonline is a Colombian e-commerce and logistics platform. Confirming the order is what generates the shipping label.
What it automates
What a Meteor Met does with Aveonline
Take the whole order inside the conversation
Your Met reads the catalog, checks availability and reference, builds the order and shows you products, totals and customer details before creating it.
Register now, ship later
You can create the order without generating the label yet, and confirm it later when the customer commits. Confirmation is what calls the carrier.
Pick an order back up by its reference
When only your external reference was saved and not the internal number, there are tools to confirm and to void by that reference, with no manual search in the portal.
Credit the sale to the right rep
Your Met lists the sales reps and assigns the order to the one it belongs to, instead of leaving everything on the default rep.
Sell cash on delivery without leaving the conversation
The order carries its own collection amount, and the carrier is the one who collects it on delivery. Your Met confirms the shipment when the customer says yes, and voids it by the same reference when they say no or stop replying.
Answer where is my order with the label in hand
The order list takes a free filter by number or by customer, and each order comes back with its label number, its carrier and its shipment status. That is what it takes to answer without opening the portal or asking the customer for the number.
11 tools
Everything your Met can ask Aveonline for
Each one is a real action in the connector. You can switch off the ones you would rather it never used.
| Tool | What it does |
|---|---|
ave_listar_productos | Lists the catalog with filters for name, category, price range and status. |
ave_ver_producto | Returns a product with its variants, images, dimensions, weight, inventory and costs. |
ave_listar_pedidos | Lists orders between two dates, or finds one by number or customer, and returns the label number, the carrier and the shipment status of each. |
ave_generar_pedido | Creates the order with its cash on delivery amount and, if you want, forcing a carrier. This is a real commercial action and it asks you to confirm products, totals and customer. |
ave_editar_pedido | Edits an existing order, under the same product rules as creating one. |
ave_confirmar_pedido | Confirms the order and generates the shipping label with the carrier. |
ave_confirmar_por_referencia | Confirms by looking the order up by your own external reference, waits for the label and returns its number, the carrier and a message ready to send to the customer. |
ave_actualizar_estado_pedido | Moves the internal status of the order, with the data each status requires. |
ave_anular_pedido | Voids the order and returns the products to inventory. Destructive and irreversible. |
ave_anular_por_referencia | Voids by looking the order up by your external reference. Just as destructive. |
ave_listar_agentes | Lists the company's sales reps and flags which one applies by default. |
The limits
What the Aveonline integration does NOT do
We would rather say it here than have you find out during rollout.
-
It does not do event by event tracking. It returns the label number, the carrier and the shipment status of every order, but the movement history lives at the carrier.
-
It does not freely edit an order that already has a label. The platform rejects certain changes, and voiding fails once a shipment number exists.
-
It does not process cards and it has no checkout of its own. What it does do is set up cash on delivery: the amount to collect travels on the order and the carrier collects it.
-
It does not pick the carrier on its own unless you ask it to. Pass the operator and it forces that one; leave it out and the choice is made by Aveonline, not by Meteor.
-
It does not manage the catalog. It reads it, and products are loaded in Aveonline.
Before you start
What you need to connect Aveonline
- 1
An Aveonline account with the API module enabled
The account needs the AveCRM API module turned on, not just web access. If sign in fails with a product error, ask Aveonline to enable it.
- 2
The account username and password
The same ones you use in the portal. Tokens refresh on their own, so there is nothing extra to configure.
- 3
A default sales rep (optional)
If you do not set one, the rep returned at sign in is used. It is what credits orders to the right person.
Frequently asked questions
Questions about Aveonline and Meteor
Yes. Confirmation is the action that generates the label with the carrier, and the response includes carrier, freight and supplier cost. That is why it is worth keeping a person in the loop on that step.
Yes. Creation accepts registering the order without quoting or generating a label, so you can confirm it later when the customer commits.
It fails. Voiding returns the products to inventory and cannot be undone, but it is not allowed once the order has a shipment number attached.
Yes. There are tools to confirm and to void using your external order reference, built exactly for the case where the internal Aveonline number was never saved.
Yes. The order carries its collection amount and the carrier is the one who collects it on delivery, so Meteor never touches the money. Confirming and voiding by reference exist for exactly that flow: the customer replies on WhatsApp and the shipment goes out or falls.
You can look up the label number, the carrier and the shipment status of any order. What it does not carry is the event by event movement history, which you check at the carrier with that label number.
