Find and fix a suppressed Amazon listing

An AI agent checks in Seller Central why an Amazon listing is suppressed or not buyable, and applies the fix your team tells it.

How do I quickly find out why one of my products stopped showing on Amazon and fix it?

A Met connected to Amazon Selling Partner pins your seller account and marketplace, searches for the listings operation it needs and reads the status and reported issues of your products. With that it classifies the symptom: a listing suppressed by a wrong attribute, an offer that cannot be bought or a product that does not show in search. It gives your team the SKUs with problems and what Amazon says about each one. When someone on the team gives it the right value, the Met applies the fix and reads the listing again to check whether Amazon accepted it. It only writes if the admin left writing on.

What starts it

When someone asks for it

Someone on the team runs the automation from Met, with a specific SKU or asking for a sweep of every listing, and if they already know the value to fix they write it in the same request. It is started by hand because the fix needs a decision from your team.

A manual task: someone on the team runs it with a button, or asks the Met for it in chat.

Who runs it

Store marketplaces Met

It is an internal Met: it does not talk to buyers, it works for whoever sells on Amazon. Its job is that a broken listing gets noticed the same day and fixed with the value your team decides, not one the Met assumed.

The procedure, step by step

Each step shows the tool that runs. They belong to the real connector: if one of them stopped existing, this page would not build.

  1. 1

Pin the seller account and marketplace

The Met returns the seller accounts it can access and pins the merchant ID and a single marketplace for the whole run. It does not mix countries: every call carries that same pair.

  2. 2

Discover the listings operation and its parameters

Since the connector works as a gateway, the Met searches for the SP-API operation that lists products with their status and issues, and reads its schema to know which parameters it needs before calling it.

  3. 3

Read the status and issues of each listing

With one read, the Met returns the summary and reported issues of the requested listings. From what Amazon returns, it classifies each one: suppressed by an attribute, without a buyable offer or hard to find in search.

  4. 4

Tell the team what is wrong and why

The Met leaves your team the list of SKUs with problems, Amazon's message for each one and the affected attribute. It does not propose a made up value: if the right data is not in the request, it asks for it.

  5. 5

Apply the fix the team indicated

With the value your team decided, the Met runs the write on the listing with the same merchant ID and marketplace. This step only happens if the admin left the write tool on.

  6. 6

Check the result and report failures

The Met reads the listing again to see whether the problem is gone or Amazon still reports it. If the failure is the connector's, such as an operation that does not behave as its schema says, it reports it to Amazon.

FAQ

Questions about this automation

Both. You can run the automation with one SKU or ask for a sweep; the Met returns the listings with their status and issues in paginated reads.

Only if you give it the price and writing is on. The Met does not decide prices on its own.

It works on the marketplaces your Seller Central account has. The Met works on one at a time so it does not mix data from two countries.

The new read still shows the problem and the Met tells you with Amazon's message, so your team can adjust the value.
