Tiendanube and Meteor AI agents
Connect Tiendanube to a WhatsApp Met: search products, check orders and customers, adjust stock and price and create coupons with the official MCP.
How does Tiendanube connect to Meteor?
With the Tiendanube ready connector, your Met works on your store through Tiendanube's official MCP server, which you authorize once with the store account. On WhatsApp it can search a product by text, give price, stock and variants, check how an order is going, find the customer with their history and say which promotions, payment methods and shipping options the store has. If you turn it on, it also updates stock and price in batches, publishes or hides products and creates coupons or promotions. Delete actions start turned off and only the admin turns them on. It does not create orders or charge: Tiendanube checkout still does that.
What it automates
What a Meteor Met does with Tiendanube
Answer price and stock on WhatsApp
When someone asks about a product, your Met looks it up in the Tiendanube catalog and replies with the price, variants and stock the store has right now, not with a list pasted into the chat.
Say how an order is going
With the order number or the buyer's email, your Met checks the store orders and customers and reports the status without anyone on the team opening the admin.
Adjust inventory and prices in batches
With the action on, someone on the team asks the Met to raise prices or load the stock that arrived, and the Met applies it to up to 50 variants per call.
Build a coupon to close a sale
With the action turned on, your Met creates a percentage, fixed amount or free shipping coupon and gives the code to the customer in the same conversation.

The limits
What the Tiendanube integration does NOT do
We would rather say it here than have you find out during rollout.
-
It does not create orders or carts, and it does not charge. The official MCP lists orders but does not write them: the purchase ends in your store checkout.
-
It does not change an order status or upload shipping labels. None of its tools marks an order as paid, shipped or cancelled.
-
It does not ask you for confirmation in the chat before writing. The admin chooses which actions stay on; deleting products, categories, coupons or promotions starts turned off.
-
It does not calculate real shipping without a cart. Shipping methods always come back, but exact cost and time need a cart, and the MCP does not create one.
-
It does not pay your Tiendanube plan. Usage runs on your Tiendanube account and plan, and each connection is tied to a single store.
Before you start
What you need to connect Tiendanube
- 1
A Tiendanube store with admin access
It is the account you use to enter your store admin. Authorization is given by someone with admin permissions; each connection works for a single store.
- 2
Connect it in Met
In Met go to Connections → Tiendanube → Connect. Tiendanube opens, you sign in with the store account and authorize access. Met never asks for passwords in the chat.
- 3
Decide which actions stay on
After connecting, the workspace admin reviews the list of actions and chooses which ones stay on. Delete actions start turned off and only the admin turns them on.
Frequently asked questions
Questions about Tiendanube and Meteor
Not with this connector. It can put together the recommendation and the coupon and say the payment and shipping options, but the order is created when the customer buys in your store checkout.
Only if the admin turns that action on. Deleting a product, category, coupon or promotion starts turned off, and Tiendanube recommends deactivating coupons and promotions instead of deleting them.
Each connection is tied to one store. If you have two, each one needs its own authorization from that store's account.
You do, with your Tiendanube account and plan. Met does not resell Tiendanube or charge for the calls your Met makes to your store.
