Answer Tiendanube price, stock and shipping over WhatsApp

An AI agent answers on WhatsApp with the real price, stock, promotions and payment and shipping options of your Tiendanube store.

How do I answer on WhatsApp whether I have a product, what it costs and how it ships, without opening Tiendanube?

A Met connected to Tiendanube searches your catalog for the product the person asks about, checks which variants have stock, looks at whether a promotion applies and tells them which payment and shipping options the store has. All of it comes from Tiendanube at that moment, not from a list pasted into the chat. If the person hesitates, the Met can create a coupon to close the sale, as long as the admin left that action on. The customer finishes the purchase in your store checkout, because the official MCP does not create orders or carts.

What starts it

When the customer writes

It starts when someone writes on WhatsApp asking about a product, a size, a price or shipping. There is no trigger to set up: the Met assigned to the line handles it inside that conversation.

Nothing to set up. The Met assigned to that channel picks up the conversation and runs the procedure inside it.

Who runs it

Store sales Met

Sales team

It is the Met that already answers the store's WhatsApp line. Its job is that the person leaves the conversation knowing what is available, what it costs and how to pay, with the product link to buy.

5 steps · 6 tools

The procedure, step by step

Each step shows the tool that runs. They belong to the real connector: if one of them stopped existing, this page would not build.

  1. 1

Find the product the person asks for

The person describes what they want in their own words, not with the exact catalog name. The Met runs a text search in Tiendanube, which also finds by similarity, and keeps the results that match what they asked for.

  2. 2

    Check which variants have stock

With the product located, the Met lists its variants filtered by available stock, so it does not offer a sold out size or color. The price it gives is the one the variant has in Tiendanube at that moment.

  3. 3

    See whether a promotion applies

Before giving the final price, the Met checks the promotions that apply to that product. If an automatic discount is active, it mentions it instead of letting the customer find it at checkout.

  4. 4

Say how to pay and how it ships

The Met reads the payment and shipping methods set up in the store and tells the person. Without a cart there is no exact shipping cost, so it says which methods exist and that the final amount appears when buying.

  5. 5

Close with a coupon if needed

If the person hesitates and your policy allows it, the Met creates a percentage, fixed amount or free shipping coupon and sends the code with the product link. This step only happens if the create coupon action is on.

FAQ

Questions about this automation

It should not: it answers with the price Tiendanube returns for the variant at that moment. If the product does not show up in the search, it says so instead of guessing.

The search returns no matching product and the Met says so. It can offer the closest thing it did find in the catalog.

Yes, with the Met instructions: the coupon type, the maximum discount and when to offer it. If you do not want coupons from the chat, leave the action off.

Each store needs its own connection. If you serve both on the same line, the Met has to know which one each question belongs to.
