Stripe and Meteor AI agents

Connect Stripe to a WhatsApp Met: create payment links, check whether a customer paid, look up subscriptions and invoices with Stripe's official MCP.

How does Stripe connect to Meteor?

With the Stripe ready connector, your Met uses Stripe's official MCP server on your account, authorized once with OAuth. Instead of one tool per task, it searches for the Stripe API method it needs, reads its parameters and runs it as a read or a write. On WhatsApp that lets it create a product, its price and a payment link and send it to the customer, check whether the checkout session was paid, find the customer with their invoices and subscriptions, or explain a charge. Writing depends on the actions the admin leaves on. For refunds and outbound payments, Stripe also asks a person to approve on its own page.

What it automates

What a Meteor Met does with Stripe

Send a payment link in the conversation

The customer decides to buy and your Met creates the product, the price and the payment link in Stripe, and sends it over WhatsApp so they pay with the methods your account accepts.

Confirm whether the customer already paid

When the customer says they paid, the Met reads the checkout session or PaymentIntent in Stripe and replies with the real status, instead of asking for a screenshot.

Answer about a subscription or an invoice

The Met finds the customer by email, reads their subscriptions and invoices and explains what was charged, when the next one is due and whether an invoice is open.

Review a claim before handing it over

For a charge the customer does not recognize, the Met reads the charge, its refunds and related disputes, and leaves the team a summary to decide.

8 tools

Everything your Met can ask Stripe for

Each one is a real action in the connector. You can switch off the ones you would rather it never used.

The limits

What the Stripe integration does NOT do

We would rather say it here than have you find out during rollout.

Before you start

What you need to connect Stripe

  1. 1

    A Stripe account

The Stripe account you charge with. When authorizing you can give access to the live account or to a sandbox, with different permissions for each one.

  2. 2

MCP enabled for your team in Stripe

A Stripe administrator can turn MCP access on or off in the Dashboard settings, separately for live mode and sandbox.

  3. 3

    Connect it in Met

In Met go to Connections → Stripe → Connect. Stripe's consent page opens and you authorize the account. The session can be revoked from Stripe.

Frequently asked questions

Questions about Stripe and Meteor

Yes, with writing turned on. Creating products, prices and payment links is among the methods Stripe's MCP supports, and the link is sent in the same conversation.

Only if the admin leaves the action on, and even then Stripe asks a person to approve the refund on its page before running it. Without that approval, it does not go out.

Yes. When authorizing you pick the Stripe sandbox instead of the live account, and the Met works there until you connect the live account.

You do, with your Stripe account and its per transaction fees. Met does not charge for the calls your Met makes to Stripe.
