Clay and Meteor AI agents
Connect Clay to a WhatsApp Met: check balances, transactions, receivables, SII tax documents and your company's F29 proposal in Chile.
How do I check my company's banks, SII and F29 in Clay from WhatsApp?
With the Clay ready connector, your Met reads the financial and accounting data of the companies in your Clay account, the Chilean platform that connects banks, the SII and the TGR. It checks bank balances and transactions, which customers owe you and since when, issued and received tax documents, the SII purchase and sales register, the balance sheet, the income statement and the monthly F29 proposal. If the admin leaves it on, it also reconciles a transaction with its documents or creates a customer. Issuing a DTE, preparing invoices, recording payments and closing the F29 period start switched off, and the final submission to the SII is done from the Clay app.
Where it applies: Chile. Clay is a Chilean platform integrated with the SII, the TGR and Chilean banks. The F29 and DTEs are Chilean tax documents.
What it automates
What a Meteor Met does with Clay
Tell the owner how cash is doing
When the owner asks on WhatsApp how much is in the bank, the Met checks balances and the period's transactions in Clay and answers with those figures, company by company if the account holds several.
Know who owes you and since when
The Met pulls the age of receivables and the pending documents, and answers which customers owe for more than 30 or 60 days, with the amounts Clay has on record.
Check whether a transfer came in
If a customer says they made a transfer, the Met looks for the transaction in the period's bank data and checks whether it is already matched to their invoice. If the admin left reconciliation on, it also creates that match.
Prepare the month's F29
For whoever keeps the books, the Met checks or prepares the F29 proposal and tells apart what Clay proposes from what was already filed. Closing the period starts switched off.

The limits
What the Clay integration does NOT do
We would rather say it here than have you find out during rollout.
-
It does not file with the SII. Clay prepares invoicing batches, but the final submission to the SII is done from the Clay app; issuing a DTE and preparing invoices also start switched off.
-
It does not ask for confirmation in the chat before writing to Clay. The admin chooses in Connections which actions stay on; recording payments and closing the F29 period start switched off.
-
It does not edit closed accounting periods. Clay rejects any change to a closed period.
-
It sees no more than the person who authorized the connection. Access follows the same permissions that person has in the Clay app.
-
It does not work for companies outside Chile or for accounting under another country's rules.
-
It does not create your Clay account. Clay has no self-serve signup: the account is requested through a demo.
Before you start
What you need to connect Clay
- 1
A Clay account with your companies
Clay has no self-serve signup: the account is requested at clay.cl through a demo. According to Clay, the MCP works with both the free and the Pro version.
- 2
An admin or owner who authorizes
Only a person with the admin or owner role in the Clay account can authorize access. Connect with that person.
- 3
Connect it in Met
In Met, open Connections → Clay → Connect. A Clay window opens so you can sign in and authorize Met. Then you choose which actions stay on.
Frequently asked questions
Questions about Clay and Meteor
No. Creating a DTE and preparing invoices start switched off, and even when on, the final submission to the SII is done from the Clay app.
Yes. It checks the age of receivables and each company's pending documents with the data Clay already pulls from the SII and your banks.
Clay enables the F29 company by company. If a company does not have it enabled yet, the MCP says so and the Met tells you.
You do, with your own Clay plan. Meteor does not resell Clay: the connector uses your company's account.
