Fintoc and Meteor AI agents
Connect Fintoc to a WhatsApp Met: confirm whether a bank transfer payment arrived and look up movements, payouts and subscriptions.
How do I confirm on WhatsApp a payment that came in through Fintoc?
With the Fintoc ready connector, your Met uses Fintoc's official MCP server on your account, authorized with OAuth and with the permissions you choose when connecting. On WhatsApp it answers whether a customer's payment already came in: the Met finds the operation it needs, runs it as a read and checks the payment intent, the account movement or the payout. If the admin turns writing on, it can also create customers, invoices or a refund. Writing starts turned off, because some operations move money. The token works only in live mode, and usage runs on your Fintoc account.
What it automates
What a Meteor Met does with Fintoc
Confirm whether the payment came in
The customer writes that they paid. Your Met finds the payment intents operation, queries it with the amount or date the customer gives and replies with the status that payment has in Fintoc.
Check an account movement
If you get paid by transfer to your account, the Met lists the movements of the linked accounts and tells the customer whether their transfer shows up.
Answer about a subscription
When a customer asks about their plan, the Met lists their subscriptions and replies with the status. Cancelling a subscription is not available over MCP: your team does it.
Refund a payment with writing on
If the admin turned on fintoc_tool_write, the Met can create the refund of a payment, for example a duplicate one. While it is still pending, the refund can be cancelled.
6 tools
Everything your Met can ask Fintoc for
Each one is a real action in the connector. You can switch off the ones you would rather it never used.
| Tool | What it does |
|---|---|
fintoc_tool_search | Searches the Fintoc operations available over MCP for the one that fits the task. |
fintoc_tool_details | Returns the parameters and permissions an operation needs before running it. |
fintoc_tool_read | Runs a read operation, such as listing payment intents, movements, payouts or subscriptions. |
fintoc_tool_write | Runs a write operation, such as creating a customer, an invoice or a refund. Some move money. Starts turned off. |
fetch_resource | Returns a Fintoc resource by its id, when the Met already knows which one it needs. |
submit_feedback | Reports a blocker or unexpected server behavior to Fintoc. |
The limits
What the Fintoc integration does NOT do
We would rather say it here than have you find out during rollout.
-
It does not write until the admin allows it. fintoc_tool_write starts turned off and, once on, enables every supported write, refunds included. The Met does not ask you for confirmation in the chat: the control is which actions the admin leaves on.
-
It does not pay invoices, cancel subscriptions, detach a subscription's payment method or change or remove users. Fintoc does not expose those actions over MCP on purpose.
-
It does not work in test mode. The server's token operates only in live mode, so everything it reads or writes is from your real account.
-
It does not see operations beyond what you authorized. What is available depends on your Fintoc products and the scopes you chose when connecting; adding one means reconnecting.
-
It does not pay your Fintoc plan or fees. Usage runs on your account, and Meteor does not resell the service.
Before you start
What you need to connect Fintoc
- 1
A Fintoc account with live mode access
Fintoc requires an active account with live mode access to connect its MCP. The operations you see depend on the products you have.
- 2
Connect it in Met
In Met, open Connections → Fintoc → Connect. Fintoc shows its consent screen, you authorize and choose the session scopes.
- 3
Decide which actions stay on
The workspace admin chooses which actions stay on. fintoc_tool_write starts turned off because some writes move money.
Frequently asked questions
Questions about Fintoc and Meteor
Because it exposes operations instead of one tool per action. The Met finds the operation, reads its parameters and runs it as a read or a write, so with six tools it reaches payments, billing, movements, payouts and more.
Only if the admin turns on fintoc_tool_write, which starts turned off. Turning it on enables every write, not just refunds, so it is worth deciding carefully.
No. Fintoc does not expose that action over MCP. The Met can look up the subscription and hand the case to your team.
Not through this server: its token operates only in live mode, so every read and every write touches your real account.
