Deel and Meteor AI agents
Connect Deel to a Meteor AI agent: calculate the cost of hiring in another country, the market salary and each person's take-home pay.
How does Deel connect to Meteor?
With the Deel ready connector, your Met answers on WhatsApp how much it costs to hire someone in another country with Deel's data: the total employer of record (EOR) cost, with employer charges, benefits and fees, the comparison between EOR and opening a local entity, the market salary for a role and the take-home pay the person would get. It also suggests countries for a role, compares labor rules and lists the jobs posted in Deel's applicant tracking system. When you connect, Met also keeps your team's contract and people lookups on; everything else, such as payments, payroll or time off, starts switched off. It is Deel's official server and usage runs on your account.
What it automates
What a Meteor Met does with Deel
Calculate what a hire costs
When someone on your team asks how much it costs to hire a person in another country, your Met calculates with Deel the total EOR cost, with employer charges and fees.
Compare several countries at once
If you are deciding where to hire, your Met compares the cost in up to 5 countries per request and each one's labor rules, and sums it up in the chat.
Know the market salary and take-home pay
Before making an offer, your Met brings the salary distribution for the role in that country and estimates how much the person would get after deductions.
Tell which jobs you have posted
If you use Deel's applicant tracking system, your Met lists your organization's posted jobs and answers which ones are open.
8 tools
Everything your Met can ask Deel for
Each one is a real action in the connector. You can switch off the ones you would rather it never used.

The limits
What the Deel integration does NOT do
We would rather say it here than have you find out during rollout.
-
It does not detail here the contract and people lookups Met keeps on: Deel documents those tools, but their names do not match across its official sources and could not be verified without connecting an account.
-
It does not create contracts or pay anyone out of the box. In Met, everything other than the calculators, the job postings and the contract and people lookups starts switched off, and the workspace admin decides what else to turn on.
-
It does not replace labor or tax advice: costs and take-home pay are estimates Deel calculates from the details you give it.
-
Your company pays for Deel usage under its account. Meteor does not resell Deel and Met does not charge Energy for these calls.
Before you start
What you need to connect Deel
- 1
A Deel account
The account your company already works with in Deel works. Listing posted jobs requires using Deel's applicant tracking system.
- 2
Connect Deel in Met
In Met, open Connections, then Deel, then Connect. A Deel window opens so you can sign in and authorize Met.
- 3
Decide which actions stay on
The workspace admin chooses in the connector which actions stay on. The ones on this page only read and start switched on; anything outside Met's list, such as payments, payroll or time off, starts switched off.
Frequently asked questions
Questions about Deel and Meteor
Yes. Deel's EOR calculation returns the breakdown with employer costs, benefits, platform fees and severance accrual.
The batch cost calculation accepts up to 5 countries per request. For more, the Met runs several requests.
Not out of the box. Time off lookups are not among the ones Met keeps on when you connect: they start switched off until the admin turns them on, and their names could not be verified, so they are not listed here.
Your company, under its Deel account. Meteor does not resell the service and Met does not charge Energy for these calls.
