See your Stripe sales and balance on WhatsApp without opening the Dashboard

Ask on WhatsApp how much you sold and what balance you have on Stripe: an AI agent reads your payments and balance and answers in the chat.

How do I see my Stripe sales and balance from WhatsApp, without opening the Dashboard?

You text your Met on WhatsApp "how much did we sell on Stripe this week?". The Met checks the connected account to learn its country and currency, looks up the API method that lists payments, reviews its parameters and reads the charges for the period you asked about. If you want more, it queries the billing and subscription metrics and your balance summary, two tools Stripe has in preview. It answers with the figures Stripe returned, in your account's currency. Everything is read-only: in this procedure the Met does not create links, refund or move money.

What starts it

When someone asks for it

It starts when someone on the team asks the Met on WhatsApp about Stripe sales, payments or balance. Each question is on request; the Met does not send you reports on its own.

A manual task: someone on the team runs it with a button, or asks the Met for it in chat.

Who runs it

Internal Met that tells you how Stripe payments are going

Finance and operations team

This is not a named, seeded Met. It is an internal Met with Stripe connected, for the owner or whoever handles finances: it is done when it answers with the period's figures and the balance Stripe returned.

5 steps · 6 tools

The procedure, step by step

Each step shows the tool that runs. They belong to the real connector: if one of them stopped existing, this page would not build.

  1. 1

    Check the connected account

The Met pulls the connected Stripe account's details, such as its country and currency. That way the figures it gives you are in your account's currency and not another one.

  2. 2

Find the method that lists payments

The Met searches the Stripe API for the method that answers the question, such as listing payments or invoices, and reviews its parameters before calling it to filter by the dates you asked for.

  3. 3

    Read the period's payments

The Met reads the period's payments with a read method from the list Stripe publishes for its MCP, and sums up how many there were and how much they added up to, without making up what the response does not include.

  4. 4

    Add the billing metrics

If you ask about subscriptions or billing, the Met queries Stripe's metrics. It is a preview tool, and SQL analytics queries need Stripe Sigma, so the Met tells you if your account does not have it.

  5. 5

    Show you the balance

The Met pulls the Stripe balance summary, also in preview, and gives it to you along with the period's sales. If the tool does not respond on your account, it says so instead of working out a balance on its own.

FAQ

Questions about this automation

Not in this procedure: it only uses read tools. Writing to Stripe starts off, and refunds also need an approval on Stripe's own page.

Yes: the Met looks up the matching read method, such as a customer's payments, and answers with what Stripe returns.

Only for SQL analytics queries. Listing payments and reading invoices does not need it, and the procedure answers with that even if your account has no Sigma.

Yes, if you grant access to the test environment when authorizing. Access to live mode and to testing is authorized separately.
