Pipedrive and Meteor AI agents

Connect Pipedrive to a WhatsApp Met: log leads and contacts, create and move deals, schedule activities and leave notes with the official MCP.

How does Pipedrive connect to Meteor?

With the Pipedrive ready connector, your Met uses Pipedrive's official MCP server with the account of the person who authorizes it, through OAuth. On WhatsApp it can check whether the person already exists, create them as a contact, open a lead and convert it into a deal, move a deal to another stage, schedule the follow up call as an activity and leave a note with what was discussed. It also looks up organizations, products and pipeline stages to answer with what your team already recorded. It deletes nothing: the official MCP has no delete tools. It only reaches what the authorizing account can see and edit, and every change goes into the Pipedrive log.

What it automates

What a Meteor Met does with Pipedrive

Log the prospect who writes on WhatsApp

Your Met looks the person up by email or name. If they do not exist, it creates them as a contact and opens a lead with what they said, so the rep does not start from zero.

Schedule the follow up without leaving the chat

When the prospect asks for a call, the Met creates the activity in Pipedrive with the agreed date and leaves it assigned to the right rep.

Turn the lead into a deal when it is ready

With the prospect qualified, the Met converts the lead into a deal, checks the pipeline stages and leaves it in the right one.

Leave the conversation noted

When the conversation ends, the Met adds a note to the deal or contact with what was discussed, so the team does not have to read the whole chat.

The limits

What the Pipedrive integration does NOT do

We would rather say it here than have you find out during rollout.

Before you start

What you need to connect Pipedrive

  1. 1

    A Pipedrive account

Every Pipedrive plan includes the MCP. It is best to authorize with a user whose role sees the pipelines and contacts the Met will work on.

  2. 2

    Connect it in Met

In Met go to Connections → Pipedrive → Connect. You sign in to Pipedrive, review the permissions and approve them. No token is requested in the chat.

  3. 3

    Decide which actions stay on

The workspace admin chooses which create and edit actions stay on. If you only want lookups, turn the write actions off.

Frequently asked questions

Questions about Pipedrive and Meteor

It can avoid it by searching first by email or name with the contact search tool. Pipedrive does not block a duplicate on its own, so that search is part of the flow.

It does not create a user: it acts with the account of whoever authorized it. That is why changes appear under their name in the Pipedrive log.

Yes. Pipedrive meters MCP usage with tokens according to your plan and sells extra tokens. It does not publish the figures, so check them in your account.

You do, with your Pipedrive account and plan. Met does not charge for the calls your Met makes to Pipedrive.
