Meteor vs Dapta: what each one does and who it suits
For a company in Latin America, Meteor fits when the conversation has to move your systems, such as quoting in Siigo or Alegra and collecting with a payment link; if you need phone calls, Dapta. Both sell AI agents to companies, but they solve different jobs. Dapta focuses on sales: voice agents that answer phone calls, text agents over SMS, web chat and WhatsApp, and credit-based plans from 99 USD a month. Meteor answers on WhatsApp, Instagram, Messenger and web chat, quotes in Siigo or Alegra, and collects with a Wompi or Mercado Pago payment link that it confirms before moving on. Compare with your own case.
Who each one suits best
Dapta is a better fit if…
- You need a voice agent that answers or makes phone calls. Its voice page describes redirecting your company numbers, connecting a SIP Trunk and working with your PBX. Meteor does not offer phone calls today.
- Your operation runs on Salesforce, QuickBooks Online or Xero, which appear on its integrations page. Meteor has no native integration with those three today.
- You want to start self-serve with several workspaces: its Pro plan includes 5 workspaces and 5 users.
Meteor is a better fit if…
- You invoice or quote in Siigo or Alegra and want the agent to check prices, inventory and receivables from the conversation. They do not appear on Dapta's integrations page.
- You want to collect inside the chat with a Wompi payment link (PSE, Nequi, Bancolombia or card) or a Mercado Pago one, and have the order move forward only when the gateway approves the payment.
- You serve customers on WhatsApp, Instagram, Messenger and web chat and want a single inbox with the CRM included in every plan.
- You would rather have the Meteor team implement with you, and on the larger plans keep optimizing your Mets every month.

FAQ
Meteor vs Dapta: common questions
What is the difference between Meteor and Dapta?
Dapta focuses on voice and text sales agents: it answers calls, replies over SMS, web chat and WhatsApp, and bills in credits from 99 USD a month. Meteor focuses on agents that operate the business systems used in Latin America: it answers on WhatsApp, Instagram, Messenger and web chat, quotes in Siigo or Alegra, and collects with Wompi or Mercado Pago links. Dapta goes further on phone calls; Meteor, on local accounting and payments.
Does Dapta integrate with Siigo or Alegra?
On Dapta's integrations page, reviewed on October 28, 2026, neither Siigo nor Alegra appears; QuickBooks Online and Xero do. Meteor has its own integration page for Siigo, with 12 tools, and for Alegra, with 18: the Met quotes and checks prices, stock and receivables, and your team creates the invoice from the Meteor web app (in Alegra, as a draft).
Does Meteor make phone calls like Dapta?
No. Meteor does not offer AI phone calls today. On WhatsApp, the Meteor Met transcribes the voice notes it receives and replies in writing. If your operation depends on answering calls, Dapta publishes voice agents with SIP Trunk and PBX connection.
How much does Dapta cost compared with Meteor?
Dapta lists Pro at 99 USD a month, Scale Up at 499 and Prime at 1,499, in credits, and Custom on request. Meteor lists Estudio at 99 USD a month, Oficina at 299 and Edificio at 500; Ciudadela and Campus are quoted. Both bill in US dollars, but they do not buy the same thing: at Dapta the plan is a pool of credits, and at Meteor the plan is by size, with AI billed as Energy based on usage.
Dapta or Meteor for a company in Colombia?
It depends on the job that has to get done. If the agent has to quote in Siigo or Alegra and collect with a Wompi link over PSE, Bancolombia or card, Meteor has its own integration page for each; on Dapta's integrations page, reviewed on October 28, 2026, Siigo, Alegra and Wompi do not appear. If your operation depends on answering phone calls, Dapta publishes voice agents that redirect your numbers and connect over SIP Trunk; Meteor does not offer calls today.
Can I move from Dapta to Meteor without changing my WhatsApp number?
The line belongs to your company. Meteor connects your number through the official WhatsApp Business API, and during implementation the team reviews the line and supports its connection. If you use the WhatsApp Business phone app today, coexistence keeps the same number connected to Meteor, as long as Meta enables it.
