Answer on WhatsApp whether a product is in stock and at what price, with Multivende

An AI agent answers on WhatsApp whether a size or color is in stock, in which store or warehouse, and at what price, by reading Multivende.

How do I answer on WhatsApp whether I have a size in stock and its price, if I run everything in Multivende?

A Met connected to Multivende finds the product the customer names, locates the exact variant by its SKU, such as the size or color, and checks its stock across all your warehouses and stores. With that it answers whether there are units and where, and it looks up the price in the price list your team chose. It is the same data that feeds your listings on Mercado Libre, Falabella or Paris, so what the Met says on WhatsApp matches what you publish. If there is no stock, it says so instead of promising a date. It does not change stock or prices.

What starts it

When the customer writes

It starts when a customer writes on WhatsApp asking whether you have a product, a size or a color, or how much it costs. There is no trigger to configure: the Met assigned to the line runs the procedure inside that conversation.

Nothing to set up. The Met assigned to that channel picks up the conversation and runs the procedure inside it.

Who runs it

Support Met that checks stock and prices in Multivende

Customer service team

This is not a named, seeded Met. It is the Met that already answers the store's WhatsApp, with Multivende connected. Its work ends when the customer knows whether there are units, where they are and what they cost, or when the product does not show up and it hands off to the team.

6 steps · 6 tools

The procedure, step by step

Each step shows the tool that runs. They belong to the real connector: if one of them stopped existing, this page would not build.

  1. 1

Find the product the customer names

The Met searches the Multivende catalog by the name the person wrote, or by SKU if they have it. If several products look alike, it shows the options so the customer picks one instead of guessing.

  2. 2

    Locate the exact variant

With the product chosen, the Met looks up the variant the customer wants, for example size M in black, by its SKU. In Multivende stock and price are per variant, not per product.

  3. 3

    Check stock across every warehouse

The Met checks that SKU's stock across all warehouses and stores, broken down by location. That way it answers whether there are units and where, which helps if the customer wants to pick up in a store.

  4. 4

    Name the store or warehouse

The Met lists the account's stores and warehouses to turn the location ID into a name the customer understands, such as the downtown store or the shipping warehouse.

  5. 5

Look up the price in the right list

The Met lists the price lists, takes the one your team named in the skill for direct sales and checks the variant's price in that list. If no price is loaded, it does not make one up.

  6. 6

    Answer the customer

The Met answers with what it found: there are units at a given location and they cost a given amount, or that variant is out of stock. If the customer wants to buy, it follows the sales path your business defined, because this procedure does not create the order.

Questions about this automation

The one in the price list your team named in the skill. If each channel has its own list, it is worth deciding which one applies to sales that come through WhatsApp.

Yes, if your stores are loaded as locations in Multivende. The Met reads the stock breakdown by warehouse and store and answers with the location's name.

No. It only uses read actions. Changing stock or prices are separate actions the admin decides whether to leave on.
