Send a contract for signature with SignNow from WhatsApp

An AI agent creates in SignNow the contract the customer accepted on WhatsApp, fills in their details, sends it to sign and tracks it.

How do I send a SignNow contract for signature as soon as the customer agrees on WhatsApp?

When the customer agrees on WhatsApp, a Met connected to SignNow asks for the details the contract needs, finds the template your company named and creates the document. It fills the text fields with the customer's name and details, and SignNow emails them the signing invite. When the customer asks later, the Met checks the invite status and tells them whether they signed or which step is missing. Signing happens in SignNow, not in the chat.

What starts it

When the customer writes

It starts when the customer accepts the proposal on WhatsApp and says they want to sign, or when they write back to ask about their contract. There is no trigger to configure: the Met assigned to the line runs the procedure in that conversation.

Nothing to set up. The Met assigned to that channel picks up the conversation and runs the procedure inside it.

Who runs it

Sales Met that closes contracts

Sales team

It is the Met that already carries the sales conversation on WhatsApp, with SignNow connected. Its work ends when the invite went out to the right email with the details filled in correctly and the customer knows where their signature stands.

The procedure, step by step

Each step shows the tool that runs. They belong to the real connector: if one of them stopped existing, this page would not build.

  1. 1

Take the template your company named

The Met lists the SignNow templates and takes the one your team named in its instructions. If it cannot find it, it stops and alerts your team instead of using a similar one.

  2. 2

Create the document from the template

With the chosen template, the Met creates a new document for this customer. The template stays untouched for the next contract.

  3. 3

    Fill in the customer's details

The Met checks the document's fields and fills the text ones with the name, ID number or address the customer gave in the conversation. SignNow only allows prefilling text fields.

  4. 4

    Send the signing invite

The Met sends the invite to the email the customer confirmed. SignNow emails it to them and the Met tells them on WhatsApp to check it.

  5. 5

    Tell where the signature stands

When the customer asks, the Met checks the invite status and its steps, and tells them whether they signed or what is missing, with what SignNow reports and not with a guess.

FAQ

Questions about this automation

The invite goes to the email that was used. With this listing the Met does not change the recipient of an invite already sent, so your team fixes it in SignNow.

No. The customer signs from the invite SignNow sends by email. The signing link SignNow provides is for documents awaiting the signature of the connected account, not the customer's.

Your company, under its SignNow plan. Meteor does not resell SignNow and does not charge Energy for these calls.
