SignNow and Meteor AI agents
Connect SignNow to a Meteor AI agent: create a document from your template, send it for signature by email and track its status.
How does SignNow connect to Meteor?
With SignNow connected, your WhatsApp Met takes a template from your account, creates the document, fills its text fields with the details the customer gave in the conversation and sends the signing invite by email from SignNow. It then checks the invite status and tells the customer whether they signed or who is missing. It also finds documents by status and prepares embedded signing or editing sessions. It uses the server SignNow hosts, with 12 verified tools, and usage runs on your SignNow plan.
What it automates
What a Meteor Met does with SignNow
Send a contract from a template
When the customer agrees, your Met takes the template your company named, creates the document, fills in the customer's name and details and sends them the signing invite by email.
Answer where the signature stands
If the customer asks about their contract, your Met checks the invite status and tells them whether they signed or which step is still pending.
See pending documents
From the internal chat, your team asks the Met for the documents waiting on others and it lists them with their status.
Prepare a document for review
If a document needs its signature fields adjusted, your Met creates the embedded editor link so someone on the team places them before sending.
12 tools
Everything your Met can ask SignNow for
Each one is a real action in the connector. You can switch off the ones you would rather it never used.

The limits
What the SignNow integration does NOT do
We would rather say it here than have you find out during rollout.
-
It does not have the customer sign inside WhatsApp. SignNow emails them the invite and signing happens in SignNow.
-
It does not fill fields other than text: SignNow prefill only supports text fields.
-
It does not send reminders, cancel invites or change the recipient with this listing: those tools appear in SignNow's documentation but not in every source, and only the ones verified in all three are listed here.
-
It does not ask for confirmation in the chat before sending an invite. The workspace admin chooses which actions stay on.
-
Your company pays for SignNow usage under its plan. Meteor does not resell SignNow and does not charge Energy for these calls.
Before you start
What you need to connect SignNow
- 1
A SignNow account with your templates
The account your company already sends documents with works. To send from the chat, it helps to have the contract template ready in SignNow, with its fields.
- 2
Connect it in Met
In Met, open Connections, then SignNow, then Connect. A SignNow window opens so you sign in and authorize Met. Then you choose which actions stay on.
Frequently asked questions
Questions about SignNow and Meteor
No. SignNow emails them the invite and signing happens in SignNow. The Met can then tell them on WhatsApp where it stands.
According to SignNow, it returns the link of a document already waiting for the connected user's signature, meaning your company's account, not the customer.
Yes, in text fields. The Met fills in the name, ID number or address the customer gave, if the template has those as text fields.
Yes. You disconnect SignNow in Met Connections, or revoke access from your SignNow account; SignNow says calls then fail with a permissions error.
