Qualify the B2B prospect who writes on WhatsApp with RocketReach

An AI agent finds the WhatsApp prospect's company and title in RocketReach, verifies their email and fills in their contact.

How do I know who the B2B prospect writing on WhatsApp is, and their title, before handing them to sales?

A Met connected to RocketReach first checks your plan's credits. With the work email the prospect gives in the chat, it finds their company by domain and their professional profile, two searches that spend no credits, so it learns their title and company size. It verifies that the email can receive mail and, if your team needs the phone, gets the full contact and leaves it in your RocketReach My Contacts list with a tag. Verifying and getting the contact spend credits from your plan.

What starts it

When the customer writes

It starts when someone writes on WhatsApp on behalf of a company to ask for a quote or a meeting. There is no trigger to configure: the Met assigned to the line runs the procedure inside that conversation.

Nothing to set up. The Met assigned to that channel picks up the conversation and runs the procedure inside it.

Who runs it

B2B prospect qualification Met

Sales team

This is not a named, seeded Met. It is the Met that answers the sales WhatsApp, with RocketReach connected. Its work ends when sales gets the prospect with their company, title and a verified email.

The procedure, step by step

Each step shows the tool that runs. They belong to the real connector: if one of them stopped existing, this page would not build.

  1. 1

    Check credits before spending

The Met checks your RocketReach plan and credit balances. If verification or lookup credits ran out, it continues only with the searches that spend nothing and lets your team know.

  2. 2

Find the company by its domain

With the domain of the work email the prospect gave, the Met finds the company and gets its industry and employee count. This search spends no credits.

  3. 3

    Find the profile and title

The Met searches for the person by name and company domain and confirms their current title. It spends no credits either, and returns no emails or phones: only the profile.

  4. 4

    Verify the email they typed

Before sales sends a quote, the Met checks that the email can receive mail. If it comes back invalid, it asks for another one in the chat. It spends 1 verification credit, unless the result is unknown.

  5. 5

Get the full contact if needed

If your team asks for the phone, the Met gets the contact with the profile ID and adds the tag you use for WhatsApp prospects. It spends 1 lookup credit and 1 export credit, and the person lands in My Contacts.

  6. 6

Wait for the result if it is pending

The contact lookup can stay pending for a few seconds. The Met checks its status once a few seconds have passed and delivers the result; checking the status spends no credits.

Questions about this automation

With the full path, 1 verification credit plus 1 lookup credit and 1 export credit for the contact. If the Met does not need the phone, only the verification one.

Without a company domain, the Met cannot find the company that way. It asks for the company name and searches with that, or continues without RocketReach.

Not in a single call. RocketReach has no bulk verification: each email is one call and one verification credit.

Yes. If the admin turns off verifying emails and getting contacts, the Met only runs the company and profile searches, which spend nothing.
