Enrich with Apollo the B2B prospect who writes on WhatsApp and add them to a sequence

An AI agent completes with Apollo the details of the person and company who write on WhatsApp and adds them to your follow-up sequence.

How do I complete the details of a company that writes on WhatsApp and put it in my Apollo follow-up sequence?

A Met connected to Apollo.io takes the name, email and company the prospect gives on WhatsApp, checks whether they are already among your Apollo contacts and enriches them along with their company with whatever data Apollo has on them. If they were not there, it creates them in your account. Then it finds the sequence your team uses for that kind of prospect, checks which Apollo email account sends it and adds them. The sequence runs in Apollo with the steps your team set up; the Met does not write those emails. In the chat, the Met keeps serving the person with what it now knows about their company.

What starts it

When the customer writes

It starts when someone from a company writes on WhatsApp asking for information or a demo and leaves their work email. There is no trigger to configure: the Met assigned to the sales line runs the procedure inside that conversation.

Nothing to set up. The Met assigned to that channel picks up the conversation and runs the procedure inside it.

Who runs it

Met that receives and qualifies B2B prospects

Sales team

This is not a named, seeded Met. It is the Met that answers the sales line of a company that sells to other companies, with Apollo connected. Its work ends when the prospect is in your Apollo account, with complete details and inside the right sequence.

The procedure, step by step

Each step shows the tool that runs. They belong to the real connector: if one of them stopped existing, this page would not build.

  1. 1

Check whether they are already among your contacts

The Met searches the contacts you already saved in Apollo by name or email. If the person exists, it continues with that contact and does not create another.

  2. 2

Enrich the person and their company

With the email and company name, the Met enriches the person and the organization with whatever data Apollo has on them. With that data, the WhatsApp conversation stops being generic.

  3. 3

Save them to your Apollo account

If the person was not among your contacts, the Met creates them in your account with the conversation details and what the enrichment returned. That leaves them ready for your team to work from Apollo.

  4. 4

Pick the sequence and the sending account

The Met finds the sequence the skill names for that kind of prospect and lists the email accounts connected to Apollo, to use the one your team chose as sender.

  5. 5

    Add them to the sequence

If that action is on, the Met adds the contact to the sequence. From there the sequence runs in Apollo with the steps and copy your team set up, and the Met tells the person they will get the information by email.

FAQ

Questions about this automation

Less so. Enriching the company depends on knowing which one it is; with a personal email and no company name, the Met has little to look up.

The action exists, but it starts switched off. If the admin turns it on, the skill can tell the Met to remove from the sequence anyone who already replied.

No. The server lets it find sequences and add or remove contacts, not build them. The sequence is created in Apollo.
