Unsplash and Meteor AI agents
Connect Unsplash to a WhatsApp Met: search photos and illustrations, find images similar to a reference and organize them in collections.
How does Unsplash connect to Meteor?
With the Unsplash ready connector, your Met searches Unsplash's photo library through its official MCP server, authorized once with your Unsplash account. It searches photos, illustrations, collections and authors; finds images related to one you already picked or similar to a reference image; and saves what works in your bookmarks or in a collection for your campaign or client. That way you ask on WhatsApp for photo options for a post and get a collection ready to review. Delete actions start switched off. Before using a photo, check the terms of use Unsplash shows for that image.
What it automates
What a Meteor Met does with Unsplash
Ask for photo options on WhatsApp
You ask the Met for photos for this week's post. It searches Unsplash, saves the best ones in a collection and sends you the link so you can choose.
Find photos similar to a reference
You send an image you like and the Met uses it as a reference to search for similar photos on Unsplash.
Organize images by client
If you manage several brands, the Met creates a collection for each client or campaign and adds the images you approve there.
Expand a search that worked
When a photo fits, the Met searches for related images and similar collections to give you more options in the same style.

The limits
What the Unsplash integration does NOT do
We would rather say it here than have you find out during rollout.
-
It does not design the piece. The Met finds and organizes photos; building the post with them is a separate step or needs another connector.
-
It does not check each image's terms for you. Before publishing, check on Unsplash how the photo can be used and whether it asks for credit to the author.
-
It does not ask you for confirmation in the chat before creating or changing collections. The admin chooses in Connections which actions stay on; delete actions start switched off.
-
It does not keep your reference private: searching by image uploads that image to Unsplash. Do not use private customer photos as a reference.
-
It does not pay anything on Unsplash for you. Usage runs on your Unsplash account; Meteor does not resell the service.
Before you start
What you need to connect Unsplash
- 1
An Unsplash account
The Unsplash account you save bookmarks and collections with. What the Met organizes stays in that account.
- 2
Connect it in Met
In Met, open Connections → Unsplash → Connect. An Unsplash window opens so you can sign in and authorize access.
- 3
Decide which actions stay on
The workspace admin reviews the list of actions. Deleting collections and bookmarks start switched off.
