Brandfetch and Meteor AI agents
Connect Brandfetch to a Met: pull a company's logo, colors, fonts and brand voice from its domain with the official MCP.
How does Brandfetch connect to Meteor?
With the Brandfetch ready connector, your Met pulls a company's brand data from its domain, website or email: logos, colors, fonts and company details. If you only have the name, it searches for it first. It also pulls brand context ready for writing, with voice, audience and positioning, and builds logo links to show in a piece. It serves an agency or a design team starting with a new client on WhatsApp. It is the official Brandfetch server: the free plan includes 100 requests a month and usage runs on your account.
What it automates
What a Meteor Met does with Brandfetch
Start with a new client
The client sends their website address on WhatsApp. The Met pulls their logos, colors and fonts, and the design team starts with that data without asking for each item.
Write in the brand's voice
Before proposing copy, the Met pulls the brand context, with voice, audience and positioning, and writes the proposal in that tone instead of a generic one.
Compare with the competition
With a paid plan or prepaid credits, the Met pulls up to 25 brands at once to build a table with the colors and logos of the client's competitors.
Explain a charge nobody recognizes
If a customer asks about a charge they do not recognize on their statement, the Met identifies the merchant brand from the text of the charge.
7 tools
Everything your Met can ask Brandfetch for
Each one is a real action in the connector. You can switch off the ones you would rather it never used.
| Tool | What it does |
|---|---|
brand_search | Searches brands by name, useful when you do not know the domain or the name is ambiguous. |
get_brand | Returns a brand's full data, with logos, colors, fonts and company info, by domain, website, email or ticker. |
get_brand_data | Returns the same brand data as get_brand, without the interactive card, to use it in a task. |
get_brands | Returns up to 25 brands in one call. Needs a paid plan or prepaid credits and uses one credit per brand. |
get_brand_context | Returns the brand context of a domain, website or email, with its voice, audience, positioning and style. |
enrich_transaction | Identifies a merchant brand from the raw text of a card charge or a bank statement line. |
build_logo_urls | Builds Brandfetch CDN logo links for one or more brands, for display only. |
The limits
What the Brandfetch integration does NOT do
We would rather say it here than have you find out during rollout.
-
It does not download files with the build_logo_urls links. Brandfetch says those links are for displaying the logo only and cannot be downloaded programmatically.
-
It does not pull several brands in one call on the free plan. get_brands needs a paid plan or prepaid credits; without them, the Met looks brands up one at a time.
-
It does not design pieces. It returns brand data and links; the piece is built in your design tool.
-
It has no separate quota. Every MCP call counts against your account's Brand API quota, which on the free plan is 100 requests a month.
Before you start
What you need to connect Brandfetch
- 1
The MCP token of your Brandfetch account
Create an account on the Brandfetch developer portal, which has a free plan, and generate the token in the Keys and MCP section of the dashboard. Treat it like a password.
- 2
Connect it in Met
In Met, open Connections → Brandfetch → Connect and paste the MCP token you generated in the Brandfetch developer dashboard.
Frequently asked questions
Questions about Brandfetch and Meteor
Not to start: the free plan includes 100 requests a month. Pulling several brands in a single call does need a paid plan or prepaid credits.
Yes. If you do not have the domain, the Met first searches for the brand by name and then pulls its data with the domain it found.
To display them, yes: the Met returns each logo link. The build_logo_urls links are for display only; to embed the file, Brandfetch says to use the links returned by get_brand.
You do, with your Brandfetch account. Meteor does not resell Brandfetch: the connector uses your token and counts against your account's quota.
