Postiz and Meteor AI agents
Connect Postiz to a Met: schedule or draft posts on your channels, review the calendar and cut long videos into clips with the official MCP.
How does Postiz connect to Meteor?
With the Postiz ready connector, your Met works on your Postiz Cloud account with its public API key. It lists the connected channels and customer groups, reads each network's rules and character limit, and creates posts as drafts, scheduled for a date or published right away. It also lists what is scheduled between two dates, adjusts the settings of a post that has not gone out yet, generates an image to go with it and turns a long YouTube video into vertical clips with captions, which stay as drafts.
What it automates
What a Meteor Met does with Postiz
Get the week scheduled
You give the Met the week's copy. It checks each network's rules, builds each post and schedules it on the channel and date you agreed on.
Answer what goes out this week
When you ask, the Met lists what is scheduled between two dates and tells you what goes out, on which channel and what stayed as a draft or with an error.
Turn a long video into clips
You give it a YouTube video link. The Met sends it for clipping, waits for the clips and lets you know when they are saved as drafts on your channels.
Handle several clients separately
If your agency runs several brands, the Met filters channels by group and schedules only on the ones for the client you named.
10 tools
Everything your Met can ask Postiz for
Each one is a real action in the connector. You can switch off the ones you would rather it never used.

The limits
What the Postiz integration does NOT do
We would rather say it here than have you find out during rollout.
-
It does not wait for your approval to publish if you ask it to publish now. The same tool keeps drafts, schedules or publishes right away, depending on what you ask.
-
It does not change the text or the date with the settings tool. That one only adjusts the network settings of a post that has not gone out yet.
-
It does not clip videos without limit. On Postiz Cloud each minute of video uses one clipping minute, it runs one at a time per organization and there is a cap of 20 per day.
-
It does not ask you for confirmation in the chat before writing. The admin chooses which actions stay on; none starts turned off by name.
Before you start
What you need to connect Postiz
- 1
Your Postiz public API key
In Postiz, open settings, go to the public API and copy your key. You need your networks already connected as channels in Postiz.
- 2
Connect it in Met
In Met, open Connections → Postiz → Connect and paste the key. Then you choose which actions stay on.
Frequently asked questions
Questions about Postiz and Meteor
Only if you ask it to publish right away and the action is on. It can also keep the post as a draft or schedule it so you review it first in Postiz.
Yes, it checks it before building the post. If something does not comply, Postiz returns the error and the Met tells you what needs to change.
Yes. The clips land in your library and, if you name channels, as drafts on each one. Nothing is scheduled or published in that step.
You do, with your Postiz account and plan. Met does not charge for the calls your Met makes to Postiz.
