How does PandaDoc connect to Meteor?

With PandaDoc connected, your WhatsApp Met creates a document in your account, such as a proposal or a contract, from what was discussed with the customer, and sends it to its recipients from PandaDoc. It then finds the document, checks its status and details, reads its content or its summary and tells the customer whether they signed it. PandaDoc's official server gives it 11 tools, and usage runs on your PandaDoc plan.

What a Meteor Met does with PandaDoc

Send the proposal when the customer says yes

When the customer agrees on WhatsApp, your Met creates the document in PandaDoc with their details and sends it to its recipients. Signing happens in PandaDoc, not in the chat.

Answer where a document stands

If the customer asks about their contract, your Met finds the document, checks its status and tells them whether it is completed or still pending.

Explain what a document says

If someone asks what the proposal they received includes, your Met reads the document's summary or content in PandaDoc and answers with what it says, not from memory.

Review pending documents

From the internal chat, your team asks the Met for the list of documents and it reports which ones are still unsigned and where each one stands.

The limits

What the PandaDoc integration does NOT do

We would rather say it here than have you find out during rollout.

It does not have the customer sign inside WhatsApp. The Met sends the document from PandaDoc and signing happens in PandaDoc.
It does not list or manage your templates: the server's listing has no template tool. If the document comes from a template, your team names it in the Met's instructions.
It does not serve accounts in PandaDoc's European region. Those accounts use another server, and the Met connector points to the global server.
It does not ask for confirmation in the chat before creating, sending or changing the status of a document. The workspace admin chooses which actions stay on.
Your company pays for PandaDoc usage under its plan, and its API limits still apply. Met does not charge Energy for these calls.

What you need to connect PandaDoc

A PandaDoc account in the global region

The account your company already sends documents with works, if it signs in at app.pandadoc.com. Accounts on app.pandadoc.eu use a different server.

Connect it in Met

In Met, open Connections, then PandaDoc, then Connect. A PandaDoc window opens so you sign in and authorize Met. Then you choose which actions stay on.

Frequently asked questions

Questions about PandaDoc and Meteor

No. The Met sends the document from PandaDoc and the customer signs it in PandaDoc. The Met can then tell them on WhatsApp where it stands.

PandaDoc's documentation shows examples of creating a contract from a template, but the Met cannot list your templates. Your team names the one to use in its instructions.

Not with this connector. PandaDoc has one server per region and a European account cannot sign in on the global server, which is the one Met uses.

Your company, under its PandaDoc plan. Meteor does not resell PandaDoc and does not charge Energy for these calls.
