OpusClip and Meteor AI agents
Connect OpusClip to a Met: turn a long video into clips, edit them and prepare their posts on your social accounts, with 29 tools.
How does OpusClip connect to Meteor?
With the OpusClip ready connector, your Met works on the OpusClip organization the admin authorizes and gets 29 tools. It gets clips from a YouTube or Vimeo video, lists projects and clips, fetches the transcript, edits a clip, generates thumbnails, returns the HD download link and groups clips into collections. It also prepares the social copy. Posting, scheduling, cancelling a schedule and sharing a project start turned off: if the admin turns them on, the Met does them directly. Calling the tools needs a Pro Beta, Max or Business plan, and usage spends credits from your plan.
What it automates
What a Meteor Met does with OpusClip
Get clips out of a long video
You give the Met the YouTube link of a livestream, a webinar or an interview, and the Met submits it to OpusClip as a new project. When you ask, it checks the project and lists the clips that came out.
Polish a clip before using it
The Met edits the clip you chose, for example to remove filler words or adjust the captions, requests thumbnail options and brings you the HD download link when the render is ready.
Prepare the post
With an approved clip, the Met checks which social accounts you have connected in OpusClip and generates the post text. If the admin turned scheduling on, the Met schedules it directly on the account and date you give; if not, it leaves the text and the clip ready for you.
Organize clips into collections
The Met creates a collection per campaign or per customer, adds the matching clips and brings the collection's HD links when your team needs them.
29 tools
Everything your Met can ask OpusClip for

The limits
What the OpusClip integration does NOT do
We would rather say it here than have you find out during rollout.
-
It does not post, schedule, cancel or share while those actions stay off, which is how they start. If the admin turns them on, the Met does them directly.
-
It does not work on every plan. Any account can authorize the connection, but calling the tools needs an OpusClip Pro Beta, Max or Business plan.
-
It does not go past OpusClip's caps: 15 hours or 900 credits per month per workspace and 4 projects at a time. The cap resets on the first day of each month.
-
It does not switch organizations. It works on the one the admin picked when connecting; to use another, disconnect and connect again, choosing it while signing in.
-
It does not post to networks you did not connect in OpusClip: posting and scheduling need social accounts connected inside OpusClip.
-
It is not free: usage spends credits from your OpusClip plan. Meteor does not resell OpusClip.
Before you start
What you need to connect OpusClip
- 1
An OpusClip plan with API access
Pro Beta, Max or Business. Pro Beta and Max organizations get access automatically; on Business, access follows your contract, and on another plan OpusClip asks you to talk to its sales team.
- 2
Social accounts connected in OpusClip
Only if you want the Met to post or schedule: connect your networks inside OpusClip. To get clips, edit them and download them you do not need them.
- 3
Connect it in Met
In Met, open Connections → OpusClip → Connect. An OpusClip window opens so you can sign in, choose the organization and authorize Met. Then you choose which actions stay on: posting, scheduling, cancelling a schedule and sharing a project start turned off.

Questions about OpusClip and Meteor
A YouTube or Vimeo link. If you have the video saved, the Met creates a signed link to upload it to OpusClip.
Only if the admin allows it. Posting, scheduling, cancelling a schedule and sharing a project start turned off in Met. If the admin turns them on in Connections, the Met does them directly.
According to OpusClip, getting clips, censoring a video and generating thumbnails spend credits, and each project spends at least 10. Duplicating a clip is free and analyzing a video spends no credits.
You do, with the credits of your OpusClip plan. Meteor does not resell OpusClip: the connector uses your company's account.
