Metricool and Meteor AI agents
Connect Metricool to a Met: schedule posts at the best time for each network and check your social media metrics with the official MCP.
How does Metricool connect to Meteor?
With the Metricool ready connector, your Met schedules posts and checks your social analytics on the Metricool account the admin authorizes. It reviews the best time to post on each network, schedules the post for that time or the one you give it, and lists what is already scheduled. It also checks which metrics are available and pulls their data, including analytics for your ad accounts. It works with any Metricool plan, including the free one, but your plan's limits still apply.
What it automates
What a Meteor Met does with Metricool
Schedule at the best time
Someone on the team gives the Met a post's text and image; the Met checks the best time for each network and schedules it in the Metricool planner for that time.
Review what is scheduled
Before scheduling something new, the Met lists what is already in the planner so it does not repeat a topic or pile posts on the same day.
Answer how your social media did
The Met checks which metrics are available and pulls the data for the requested period, for example the month's reach or interactions, and answers with those figures.
Read your ads analytics
If you have Meta Ads, Google Ads or TikTok Ads accounts connected to Metricool, the Met checks their analytics. It only reads them: it does not create or change campaigns.

Each one is a real action in the connector. You can switch off the ones you would rather it never used.

The limits
What the Metricool integration does NOT do
We would rather say it here than have you find out during rollout.
-
It does not handle the Metricool inbox: according to its help center, the MCP gives no access to Inbox messages or post comments.
-
It does not create or change ad campaigns. Through the MCP, Metricool only provides those accounts' analytics.
-
It does not go past your plan's limits: on the free plan, Metricool allows up to 20 scheduled posts per month and keeps 30 days of analytics.
-
It does not use Smartlinks, Google Business Profile reviews, autolists or your Canva or Drive files: Metricool does not offer them through the MCP.
-
It does not ask for confirmation in the chat before scheduling a post. The admin chooses in Connections which actions stay on.
Before you start
What you need to connect Metricool
- 1
A Metricool account with your networks connected
Any Metricool plan works, including the free one. Your networks need to be connected to the Metricool brand the Met will use.
- 2
Connect it in Met
In Met, open Connections → Metricool → Connect. A Metricool window opens so you can sign in and authorize Met. Then you choose which actions stay on.
Frequently asked questions
Questions about Metricool and Meteor
No. Metricool says its MCP works with any plan, including the free one. What does not change are your plan's limits, such as scheduled posts per month.
The ones Metricool supports for its MCP: Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook, X, YouTube, Pinterest, Threads, Bluesky and Twitch, as long as they are connected to your brand.
Not with Metricool: its MCP gives no access to the inbox or comments. The Met handles scheduling and analytics.
You do, with your own Metricool plan. Meteor does not resell Metricool: the connector uses your company's account.
