Schedule a post at the best time with Metricool and report later how it did

An AI agent schedules your post in Metricool at the time each network responds best and later tells you its results in figures.

How do I schedule my posts at each network's best time without opening Metricool, and know later how they did?

Someone on the team gives the Met, on the web platform, a post's text and image. The Met checks in Metricool the best time to post on each network, looks at what is already scheduled so it does not pile two posts on the same day, and schedules the new one in the planner at that time. Days later, the same person asks how it did: the Met checks which metrics are available, pulls the period's data, such as reach or interactions, and answers with those figures. On Metricool's free plan, up to 20 scheduled posts per month fit.

What starts it

When someone asks for it

Someone on the team starts the task on the web platform with the text, the image and the networks where they want to post. Later they ask again for that post's results.

A manual task: someone on the team runs it with a button, or asks the Met for it in chat.

Social team

This is not a named, seeded Met. It is the Met that posts on the business's social media, with Metricool connected. Its work ends when the post is scheduled at the best time and the team knows in figures how it did.

The procedure, step by step

Each step shows the tool that runs. They belong to the real connector: if one of them stopped existing, this page would not build.

  1. 1

    Check each network's best time

The Met checks in Metricool the best times to post on each network the piece goes to, and uses the one Metricool recommends instead of guessing.

  2. 2

Look at what is already scheduled

Before scheduling, the Met lists the posts in the planner. If another one is already at that time, it picks the next best time so two pieces do not pile up on the same day.

  3. 3

    Schedule the post

The Met schedules the post in the Metricool planner for the chosen time, with the text and image it was given. From there, the post goes out at the scheduled time.

  4. 4

    See which metrics exist

When asked how it did, the Met checks which metrics Metricool has available for those networks. That way it asks for data that exists instead of guessing a metric name.

  5. 5

    Answer with the results

The Met pulls the metrics data for the period, for example reach and interactions, and answers with those figures. On the free plan, Metricool keeps 30 days of analytics.
