Mailchimp and Meteor AI agents
Connect Mailchimp to a Met: build an email, SMS and social campaign plan from your data, edit the design and save it as drafts.
How does Mailchimp connect to Meteor?
With the Mailchimp ready connector, your Met uses Mailchimp's official MCP server with the account the admin authorizes. You ask on WhatsApp for a campaign, for example for a launch, and the Met builds a plan with titles, dates, audiences and descriptions for email, SMS and social, based on what already worked for you in Mailchimp. Then it refines it with you: it changes text, images, colors, tone or theme, takes product photos from your site and generates images. When the plan is ready, it saves it as drafts in your Mailchimp account. The connector focuses on planning, editing and saving campaigns: it does not send them.
What it automates
What a Meteor Met does with Mailchimp
Plan the month of campaigns
You tell the Met on WhatsApp the goal, the audience and the dates. The Met builds a calendar of email, SMS and social campaigns, with a title, date and description for each one.
Base the plan on what already worked
With your account connected, the Met brings in Mailchimp data so the recommendations come from your campaign history and not from a generic plan.
Adjust the campaign in the chat
If you say "more formal" or "change the headline", the Met edits that campaign: the text, the tone, the design theme or an image, without you opening the editor.
Use your store's photos
The Met takes the product images from the page you send, or generates a new image, and puts them in the campaign you are building.
Leave everything as drafts in Mailchimp
When the plan is ready, the Met saves it to your Mailchimp account as draft campaigns, so your team reviews them and schedules them from there.

The limits
What the Mailchimp integration does NOT do
We would rather say it here than have you find out during rollout.
-
It does not send or schedule campaigns. It saves them as drafts in Mailchimp; your team sends them from Mailchimp.
-
It does not manage your audience: it does not add, edit or delete contacts. The connector focuses on planning, editing and saving campaigns.
-
It does not post to your social accounts or send SMS. The plan covers those channels, but what comes out of the connector are drafts in Mailchimp.
-
It does not ask for confirmation in the chat before saving to Mailchimp. The admin chooses in Connections which actions stay on, and none starts switched off.
-
It does not pay your Mailchimp plan. Usage runs on your own account and plan.
Before you start
What you need to connect Mailchimp
- 1
A Mailchimp account
Your business's Mailchimp account. For the plan to be based on your history, it helps if it already has campaigns sent.
- 2
Connect it in Met
In Met, open Connections → Mailchimp → Connect. A Mailchimp window opens so you can sign in to the right account and authorize access.
