Gorgias and Meteor AI agents
Connect Gorgias to a WhatsApp Met: open tickets, leave internal notes, escalate to the team and answer from your help center with the official MCP.
How does Gorgias connect to Meteor?
With the Gorgias ready connector, your WhatsApp Met works on your store's helpdesk with the account the admin authorizes. It reads your help center articles to answer, finds the customer by email and opens a ticket with what they said in the chat, without sending them anything. It also searches tickets by what was said or reads one by its number, leaves internal notes, escalates it to a team and applies your macros. All of those writes start switched off because Gorgias marks them as destructive: the admin decides which ones to turn on. Gorgias says the server is in beta.
What it automates
What a Meteor Met does with Gorgias
Answer from your help center
When a customer asks about shipping or returns, the Met finds the article in your Gorgias help center, reads it in full and answers with what it says, without inventing a policy.
Open a ticket with what they said on WhatsApp
If the case needs a person, the Met finds the customer by email and opens a ticket with the conversation summary, logged as a customer message and without sending them anything.
Escalate to the right team
The Met leaves an internal note with the context and escalates the ticket to the team the skill names, for example warranties or payments, so they pick it up in Gorgias.
Tell how a ticket is going
If the customer gives their ticket number, or says what it was about, the Met finds it, opens it with its messages and tells them the status and the team's latest reply.

The limits
What the Gorgias integration does NOT do
We would rather say it here than have you find out during rollout.
-
This page does not cover replying and closing a ticket in one step, or snoozing it. Gorgias marks those actions as destructive, so in Met they also start switched off.
-
It writes nothing in Gorgias until the admin turns it on: opening tickets, posting messages, leaving notes, escalating and applying macros start switched off.
-
It does not ask for confirmation in the chat before writing. The admin chooses in Connections which actions stay on.
-
It does not serve several brands with one connection: according to Gorgias, each brand needs its own, with its own subdomain.
Before you start
What you need to connect Gorgias
- 1
A Gorgias Helpdesk account
Gorgias says its MCP server is available on all Helpdesk plans. The actions the Met can use depend on the role of the user who connects.
- 2
Connect it in Met
In Met, open Connections → Gorgias → Connect. A Gorgias window opens so you can sign in with a user from the brand and authorize Met. Then you choose which actions stay on.
Frequently asked questions
Questions about Gorgias and Meteor
Only if the admin turns on the actions that post messages. Opening a ticket, by default, logs the message as from the customer and sends nothing to anyone.
Yes. It searches by text in the subject, the messages and the customer fields, or opens it directly if the customer gives the number. If none exists, it can create a new one.
Gorgias asks for a separate connection per brand, with that brand's subdomain. Met's ready connector uses Gorgias's standard address, without a subdomain, and does not set it yet.
You do, with your own Gorgias plan. Meteor does not resell Gorgias: the connector uses your company's account.
