Mercately vs Meteor: what to compare when looking for a Mercately alternative
Looking for a Mercately alternative? Compare AI, CRM, Colombian payments, mobile app and the published price of Mercately and Meteor, with official sources.
Which Mercately alternative is worth evaluating to sell on WhatsApp with AI?
A Mercately alternative is compared by the work that gets done after the message. Mercately presents itself as a CRM for WhatsApp and social selling with AI: an inbox for WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook and TikTok, pipelines, bulk sends, MIA, an agent that serves customers and closes sales, and payments with Colombian methods such as Nequi, Daviplata and Bre-B. It has a native app. Meteor enters the comparison when the work continues in your systems: quoting in Siigo or Alegra, checking stock and receivables in SIESA, booking against real availability or quoting shipments with TCC, with limits published per connector. If you need to take payment by Daviplata or Bre-B from the chat, or a native app, Mercately goes further today.
If you are looking for a Mercately alternative, this comparison helps you decide whether you need another messaging CRM or Mets that also work inside your systems. It was reviewed on October 27, 2026 against Mercately’s official site, linked at the end. It keeps Mercately’s real advantages, and in Colombia there are several.
How to evaluate a Mercately alternative
Mercately presents itself as a CRM for WhatsApp and social selling with AI: “one platform to attract, converse and sell”. Its site describes an inbox for WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook and TikTok, WhatsApp calls, pipelines and deals, bulk sends with approved templates, and MIA, an agent that serves customers, recommends and closes sales under human supervision.
Meteor starts from a different assumption. The conversation is the trigger, and the work rarely ends in the CRM: it ends in the accounting software that issues the quote, in the ERP that holds the balance, in the calendar where the appointment is booked. A Met serves the customer, checks those systems with declared permissions and leaves the record and the owner ready for a person to continue.
Where Mercately goes further
We start here on purpose. These advantages come from Mercately’s official site.
| Area | What Mercately publishes | What Meteor has today |
|---|---|---|
| Colombian payment methods | Payments with Nequi, Daviplata and Bre-B, plus Stripe, PayPal, Mercado Pago and Kushki. | Wompi: PSE, Nequi, Bancolombia and card. It does not publish Daviplata or Bre-B. |
| Mobile app | Its own app on the App Store and Google Play. | It runs in the browser and installs as a web app. |
| Ad attribution | A module that connects Meta’s and Google’s Conversions APIs to attribute the sale to the ad. | The Marketing Met prepares Meta and Google campaigns and waits for your approval before spending. |
If your customers pay by Daviplata or Bre-B, or your team sells from the phone, Mercately is probably a correct answer. The honest thing is to say so.
Where the difference is in your systems
In the sources we read, Mercately names Shopify and WooCommerce, but Siigo, Alegra, SIESA and Wompi do not appear. That does not prove they do not exist: it is a question for the demo. Meteor publishes, page by page, what a Met does with them:
- Accounting. In Siigo or Alegra, the Met finds the customer and prepares the quote from the chat. Your team issues the electronic invoice from that software.
- ERP. In SIESA it checks stock, price, receivables and credit limit before quoting, read only.
- Calendar and shipping. The native calendar books against real availability, and TCC quotes the shipment and tracks the waybill.
What to compare before asking for a demo
| Question | Mercately: confirm your plan’s scope | Meteor: what gets done |
|---|---|---|
| Where does the conversation live? | Inbox for WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook and TikTok, with pipelines. | The Met serves on WhatsApp, Instagram, Messenger or web chat and leaves the context in the native CRM. |
| What does the AI do? | MIA serves, recommends and closes; several actions are in beta. | Mets serve, qualify, book, quote and check connected systems, then hand over to a person with the history. |
| How does it take payment? | Nequi, Daviplata, Bre-B and international gateways. | Wompi in pesos (PSE, Nequi, Bancolombia, card) or Mercado Pago, with the transaction checked. |
| What needs approval? | Ask in writing what the agent runs on its own. | Posting to social media, switching on campaigns or changing their budget, and invoices and accounting wait for a person. |
| What does it cost? | Scale IA at US$299 a month paid monthly (October 27, 2026). | From US$99 a month with US$10 of Energy included; extra usage and Meta’s charges are separate. |

The demo Meteor has to win
- A customer asks about price and availability. The system checks your real ERP or store, not a catalog loaded by hand.
- The customer wants to move ahead. A quote is left in your accounting software, an appointment is booked or a payment link goes out that the Met checks before confirming.
- A record is left that a sales rep can pick up: contact, stage, note and owner.
- Something fails and the external system does not respond. Ask what the agent says.
Run the same list with Mercately. If both handle it, choose on price, payment methods and what suits your team.
How to close the decision
If your work ends in the CRM and the payment, Mercately competes well and goes further on Colombian payment methods. If it ends in your accounting, your ERP or your calendar, evaluate what the agent checks and does without a person copying data between screens.
The limits
What this article does NOT answer
We would rather say it here than leave you hunting for something that is not there.
-
It quotes the price Mercately publishes, with the date it was read, but does not say which platform is cheaper: the plans include different things and Meta's charges are separate.
-
It does not measure AI quality, availability, conversions or implementation time. Those depend on each account's process, data and configuration.
-
It relies on Mercately's public site and help center. Whatever does not appear there is a question for the demo, not an absence.

Questions on this topic
According to its page, it serves customers, recommends and closes sales, and escalates to a person when needed. Mercately marks several of its functions as beta: creating a deal, moving a stage, calculating shipping costs, creating the order, the cart and the delivery methods. Confirm in the demo which ones you would use.
Meteor does not publish them today. The Wompi connector creates a link in pesos that opens Wompi's checkout with the methods your merchant account has active, and Meteor publishes PSE, Nequi, Bancolombia and card; it has not verified Daviplata or Bre-B. Mercately does publish payments with Nequi, Daviplata and Bre-B. If those are the methods your customers use, it is a real difference.
On October 27, 2026 Mercately's pricing page showed the Scale IA plan at US$299 a month paid monthly and US$239 a month paid yearly, with setup services charged separately. Meteor publishes its plans from US$99 a month with US$10 of Energy included; extra usage and Meta's charges are separate. Compare the total cost at your volume.
Yes. Mercately offers a 15-day trial according to its Nequi page, and Meteor gives 7 days with US$5 of Energy, no card needed. Make both trials solve the same case from your operation.
