Send a Zoom meeting's summary and next steps on WhatsApp

An AI agent finds the customer's Zoom meeting, sends the summary, next steps and recording on WhatsApp, and leaves the note.

How do I send the customer on WhatsApp what we agreed in the Zoom meeting without typing it out?

A Met connected to Zoom, when the customer asks on WhatsApp what came out of their meeting, finds it by date and topic among the authorized account's meetings and confirms which one it is before going on. It brings back what that meeting left, finds its cloud recording and gets the summary, the next steps and the playback link from it, and replies to the customer in the same conversation. Finally it leaves the follow up note as a Zoom Canvas document for your team. Everything comes from what Zoom saved: if the meeting had no summary or recording, the Met says so.

What starts it

When the customer writes

It starts when a customer writes on WhatsApp to ask what was agreed in their Zoom meeting or to ask for the recording. There is no trigger to configure: the Met assigned to the line runs the procedure inside that conversation.

Nothing to set up. The Met assigned to that channel picks up the conversation and runs the procedure inside it.

Support Met that follows up on meetings

Customer service team

This is not a named, seeded Met. It is the Met that already answers the company's WhatsApp, with Zoom connected. Its work ends when the customer has the summary, next steps and link of their meeting, and your team has the note saved in Zoom.

5 steps · 5 tools

The procedure, step by step

Each step shows the tool that runs. They belong to the real connector: if one of them stopped existing, this page would not build.

  1. 1

    Find the customer's meeting

The Met searches for the meeting by the topic and date the customer mentions, converting the dates from their time zone to UTC as the Zoom tool requires. If more than one shows up, it asks which one instead of choosing on its own.

  2. 2

Bring back what the meeting left

With the meeting confirmed, the Met asks for its assets: the AI Companion summary, the recording, whiteboards and related documents. That tells it what there is to share and what was not saved.

  3. 3

    Find the cloud recording

The Met lists the authorized user's cloud recordings filtered by that meeting's number. If the meeting was not recorded to the cloud, it tells the customer there is only the summary.

  4. 4

Reply with next steps and link

From the recording, the Met gets the summary, the next steps and the playback link, and sends them to the customer in the conversation. If the customer asks about a detail, it looks it up in the transcript instead of guessing.

  5. 5

Leave the follow up note in Zoom

With document creation turned on, the Met saves the note with the summary, the next steps and what the customer asked as a Zoom Canvas document, and shares its link with your team.

FAQ

Questions about this automation

It searches by the topic and date the customer mentions. If several look alike, it asks which one before sharing anything, so it does not send another meeting's content.

The Met shares the link Zoom returns. Who can open it depends on how your Zoom account shares recordings, not on Met.

Only partly. Without a cloud recording there is no transcript or link; if AI Companion made the summary, the Met can share that summary and nothing else.

Your company, with its Zoom account and plan. Met does not charge for the calls your Met makes to Zoom.
