Send the contract the customer accepted on WhatsApp for signature with Yousign

An AI agent creates in Yousign the contract the customer accepted on WhatsApp from your template, sends it for signature and says who is missing.

How do I send a contract for signature with Yousign as soon as the customer accepts on WhatsApp?

When the customer accepts on WhatsApp, a Met connected to Yousign asks for the details the contract needs, finds the template your company named and creates the signature request as a draft, with the customer as signer and the text fields filled in. It copies your salesperson, checks that the signer's email is right and sends the request. When the customer asks later, the Met finds their request and tells them whether they signed or what is missing. Signing happens in Yousign, not in the chat, and the send cannot be undone.

What starts it

When the customer writes

It starts when the customer accepts the proposal on WhatsApp and says they want to sign, or when they write back to ask about their contract. There is no trigger to configure: the Met assigned to the line runs the procedure inside that conversation.

Nothing to set up. The Met assigned to that channel picks up the conversation and runs the procedure inside it.

Who runs it

Sales Met that closes contracts

Sales team

It is the Met that runs the sales conversation on WhatsApp, with Yousign connected. Its work ends when the request went to the right email with the details filled in correctly and the customer knows how their signature is going.

The procedure, step by step

Each step shows the tool that runs. They belong to the real connector: if one of them stopped existing, this page would not build.

  1. 1

    Take the right template

The Met searches Yousign for the template your team named in the skill, for example "Service contract". If it cannot find it, it stops and alerts the team instead of using a similar one.

  2. 2

    Create the draft request

With the name, email and details the customer gave, the Met creates the request from the template, with the customer as signer and the text fields filled in. It is not sent yet.

  3. 3

    Check the signer

The Met returns the signer's details and, if the customer corrects their email in the chat, it changes it in the draft before sending, without creating another request.

  4. 4

    Copy the salesperson

The Met adds the salesperson who handles the customer as a follower, so they get the signature progress without having to ask.

  5. 5

    Send for signature

The Met sends the request and Yousign sends the invitation to the customer. The send cannot be undone, so the admin decides whether this action stays on.

  6. 6

Say how the signature is going

When the customer or your team asks, the Met finds the request and returns its history to say whether they signed, whether a reminder went out or what is missing.

FAQ

Questions about this automation

No. The Yousign invitation reaches their email and they sign there. The Met only prepares, sends and tells them how it is going.

If they correct it before sending, the Met changes the signer in the draft. After sending, the send can no longer be undone.

Yes. The connector works on every plan, including the free trial, which allows up to 20 sends per hour per organization.
