Turn your saved Buffer ideas into scheduled posts and check the ones that failed

An AI agent takes the ideas you saved in Buffer, schedules them in each channel's queue and tells you which post failed and why.

How do I turn the ideas I saved in Buffer into scheduled posts without doing them one by one?

Someone on the team asks the Met, on the web platform, to schedule the week with the ideas under a tag. The Met confirms the organization and local time of your Buffer account, lists your channels and checks their schedule, takes the saved ideas and creates a post from each one in the right channel's queue, or as a draft if the skill asks for it. Then it reviews the posts with errors and reads each one to report what failed, for example a disconnected channel. Buffer spreads the queue out according to each channel's schedule.

What starts it

When someone asks for it

Someone on the team starts the task on the web platform and says which ideas to schedule, for example the ones under this week's tag, and on which channels. The Met works from that instruction.

A manual task: someone on the team runs it with a button, or asks the Met for it in chat.

Social team

This is not a named, seeded Met. It is the Met that posts on the business's social media, with Buffer connected. Its work ends when the chosen ideas are scheduled on their channels and the team knows which ones failed and why.

The procedure, step by step

Each step shows the tool that runs. They belong to the real connector: if one of them stopped existing, this page would not build.

  1. 1

Confirm the organization and local time

The Met reads the Buffer account, its organizations and the current time in its time zone. That tells it which organization to work in and turns "Monday morning" into a real date.

  2. 2

Check the channels and their schedule

The Met lists the connected channels and checks the posting schedule of the one it will use. If a channel shows as disconnected, it does not schedule there and says so.

  3. 3

    Take the saved ideas

The Met lists the organization's ideas and keeps the ones the person asked for, for example those under a tag. Each idea brings its text, its image and the network it was meant for.

  4. 4

    Schedule one post per idea

From each idea, the Met creates the post in the right channel's queue, or as a draft if the skill asks for review. Instagram and TikTok need an image or a video; if the idea has none, it leaves it unscheduled and says so.

  5. 5

    Check the ones that failed

The Met lists the posts with an error status and reads each one to report what Buffer stored as the cause. That way the team reconnects the channel or changes the piece before the date is lost.

FAQ

Questions about this automation

Yes. The skill can ask the Met to create them as drafts; your team reviews them in Buffer and moves them to the queue.

No. It creates the post from the idea and leaves the idea alone. Delete actions start switched off and this procedure does not use them.

Buffer requires an image or a video for Instagram and TikTok. The Met does not schedule it and tells the team which idea is still pending.
