Integration · Run stores and orders
Wix and Meteor AI agents
Connect your Wix site to a WhatsApp Met: check and create bookings, review Wix Stores products and orders and edit content with the official MCP.
How does Wix connect to Meteor?
With the Wix ready connector, your Met uses Wix's official MCP server with the account that owns the site, authorized once. It does not bring one tool per task: it finds your site, reads which apps are installed and calls the Wix API for that app, whether it is Wix Bookings, Wix Stores or the CMS. That way it can check open times and create a booking, look up a store product or order, or update a CMS collection from WhatsApp. Before each call it reads the exact method schema in the Wix documentation. What it can do depends on your site apps and on the actions the admin leaves on.
What it automates
What a Meteor Met does with Wix
Book a Wix Bookings service over WhatsApp
If your site uses Wix Bookings, your Met checks open times for the service the customer asks for and creates the booking with their details, through your site's Bookings API.
Answer about Wix Stores products and orders
With Wix Stores installed, your Met looks up a product to give price and availability, or finds an order to say how it is going, without anyone opening the Wix dashboard.
Update site content from the internal chat
Your team asks the Met to change a text in a CMS collection or upload new images, and the Met does it on the connected site.
Chain long queries in a single pass
For a monthly order report or a weekly booking list, the Met runs a script that paginates the API calls and hands you the complete result.
13 tools
Everything your Met can ask Wix for
Each one is a real action in the connector. You can switch off the ones you would rather it never used.
| Tool | What it does |
|---|---|
wixreadme | Entry point that routes each Wix task to the right tool or recipe. |
listwixsites | Lists the sites in the connected Wix account. |
getsitecontext | Returns a site's ID, properties and installed apps by its name. |
callwixsiteapi | Makes one Wix REST API call on the selected site. Starts turned off. |
executewixapi | Runs a script that chains, loops or paginates several Wix API calls on a site. Starts turned off. |
managewixsite | Performs account actions such as creating, updating or publishing a site; it does not touch business data. Starts turned off. |
uploadimagetowixsite | Uploads one or more images to the site Media Manager. |
searchwixrestdocumentation | Searches the Wix REST documentation for the method that solves a task. |
browsewixrestdocsmenu | Browses the Wix REST documentation by category instead of searching by keyword. |
wixbusinessflowsdocumentation | Returns step by step instructions for multi call business flows. |
readfulldocsarticle | Reads a full Wix documentation article from its URL. |
readfulldocsmethodschema | Returns the full request and response schema of an API method. |
searchwixapispec | Inspects the exact request and response schema of a REST method. |
The limits
What the Wix integration does NOT do
We would rather say it here than have you find out during rollout.
-
It does not work the same on every site. What your Met can book or sell depends on the business apps installed on your site, such as Wix Bookings or Wix Stores.
-
It does not touch business data with the account tool. Creating or publishing a site goes through one tool; bookings, products and orders go through the site API tools.
-
It does not ask you for confirmation in the chat before writing. The admin chooses which actions stay on, and the site API tools are general: with callwixsiteapi or executewixapi turned on, the Met can create, change or delete in the site apps.
-
It does not charge outside Wix checkout. If a service needs payment, the customer pays with the methods your site has set up.
-
It does not pay your Wix plan. Usage runs on your Wix account and plan, and some business features need a paid plan on the Wix side.
Before you start
What you need to connect Wix
- 1
A Wix account that owns the site
The account you manage the site with in Wix. If you have several sites in the same account, the Met lists them and works on the one you point to.
- 2
The business apps you want to use
Wix Bookings for bookings, Wix Stores for a store or the CMS for content, installed from your site dashboard in Wix.
- 3
Connect it in Met
In Met go to Connections → Wix → Connect. You sign in to Wix and authorize access. The workspace admin decides which actions stay on.
Frequently asked questions
Questions about Wix and Meteor
No. The per site one acts as an anonymous visitor and only sees what is public. This connector acts with the account that owns the site, so it reaches bookings, orders and content.
Because the Wix MCP is general: one tool calls any site API. Reading the method schema before calling it avoids sending fields Wix does not accept.
Yes, if the admin leaves on the account action that updates and publishes sites. If you do not want that to happen from the chat, leave it off.
You do, with your Wix account and plan. Met does not resell Wix or charge for the calls your Met makes to your site.
