Windsor.ai and Meteor AI agents
Connect Windsor.ai to a Met: query ads, analytics and sales from more than 350 sources in a single connection with the official MCP.
How does Windsor.ai connect to Meteor?
With the Windsor.ai ready connector, your Met queries the data you have connected in Windsor.ai, such as Meta Ads, Google Ads, TikTok Ads, Google Analytics 4 or Shopify, with a single connection and 18 tools. It discovers the sources, fields and date column, runs the query and uses your team's formula fields, such as a CPA. The execute action starts off; if the admin turns it on, it also pauses or enables campaigns, adjusts budgets and posts on Instagram or Google Business Profile. Your Windsor.ai plan pays for the service, and Windsor.ai places the MCP on its paid plans.
What it automates
What a Meteor Met does with Windsor.ai
Compare ad channels
You ask the Met on WhatsApp which channel had the best ROAS last week. The Met finds your connected sources, checks each one's fields and date column and queries each account's data.
Measure with the team's formula
If your team calculates CPA with its own formula, the Met finds it among the custom fields and uses it like any other field. It can also create a new formula field.
Connect a missing source
If you ask about a platform you have not connected yet, the Met gives you the link to connect it in Windsor.ai from the browser. Credentials go into that link, not into the chat.
Pause or adjust a campaign
The execute action starts off. If the admin turns it on, the Met finds the connector's action, such as pausing a campaign or changing a budget, and runs it on the account you tell it.
Schedule an export
The Met checks the available destinations and what each one needs, and creates a recurring export, for example of Google Ads data to Google Sheets.
18 tools
Everything your Met can ask Windsor.ai for
Each one is a real action in the connector. You can switch off the ones you would rather it never used.
| Tool | What it does |
|---|---|
get_current_user | Returns the connected account's profile, with username, email and current subscription plan. |
get_connectors | Lists Windsor.ai connectors with their connected accounts, the write actions and the read options of each. It can also show the ones you have not connected yet. |
get_connector_connect_info | Explains how to grant access to a connector and returns its direct connect link. |
get_connector_authorization_url | Returns a link to connect, add, authorize, replace or reconnect a connector account from the browser. |
get_subscription_url | Returns a link to start or upgrade a paid Windsor.ai plan. |
get_options | Lists the available fields, the date filter columns and each connector's own options. |
get_fields | Returns the description, type and table of specific fields. |
get_data | Runs a query with date ranges, accounts, options and nested filters; a long pull comes back as a pending job. |
get_custom_fields | Lists your custom formula fields across connectors, with their connector, ID, type and formula. |
create_custom_field | Creates a formula field on a connector, such as a CPA or spend adjusted by a margin, that then works like any other field. |
list_actions | Shows a connector's write actions and their schemas, such as pausing, enabling or changing budgets on Meta Ads, Google Ads, TikTok Ads, LinkedIn Ads and Microsoft Ads, posting on Instagram or replying to reviews on Google Business Profile. |
execute_action | Runs a write action against a specific account. These are real changes on the ad platform, the social network or the profile. |
get_destinations | Lists the destinations that can receive scheduled exports, such as BigQuery, Google Sheets, Snowflake, databases and storage. |
get_destination_tasks | Lists the scheduled exports you already created, with their destination, connector, schedule and status. |
get_destination_setup_info | Describes the fields a destination receives, the allowed schedules and a link to its setup form. |
create_destination_task | Creates a recurring export of a connector's data to a destination, with the authorization you already granted. |
get_windsor_login_url | Returns a link into the Windsor.ai dashboard, which can point to a specific page. |
contact_windsor | Sends feedback, a support request or a feature request to Windsor.ai and returns a reference number. |
The limits
What the Windsor.ai integration does NOT do
We would rather say it here than have you find out during rollout.
-
It does not ask you for confirmation in the chat before writing: the admin decides in Connections which actions stay on. The execute action starts off until the admin turns it on.
-
It does not undo everything with a single action. Pausing or enabling can usually be reverted, but creating a campaign, an ad or a post is not undone with a single action.
-
It does not bring data from sources you did not connect in Windsor.ai. A missing source is connected in Windsor.ai, with the link the Met gives you.
-
It does not append rows in a scheduled export: each run replaces the matching rows in the destination, and what was there is deleted.
-
It does not pay your Windsor.ai plan or your ad spend. Meteor does not resell the service.
Before you start
What you need to connect Windsor.ai
- 1
A Windsor.ai account
Windsor.ai states that the MCP is on all its paid plans. The account is created at onboard.windsor.ai.
- 2
Connect it in Met
In Met, open Connections → Windsor.ai → Connect. A Windsor.ai window opens so you sign in and authorize Met. No API key is needed.
- 3
At least one source connected in Windsor.ai
The ad, analytics or store accounts you want to query have to be connected in Windsor.ai. The Met can give you the link to connect a missing one.
Frequently asked questions
Questions about Windsor.ai and Meteor
The ones Windsor.ai connects, which according to its documentation are more than 350 ad, analytics, CRM, commerce and database sources. The Met sees the ones you have connected and can list the ones you have not.
Yes, if the admin turns on the execute action, which starts off. Windsor.ai exposes write actions per connector, such as pausing, enabling or changing budgets on Meta Ads and Google Ads, and the Met runs them on the account you tell it.
Because a long query comes back as a pending job and the Met waits for the result. If the volume is very large, it helps to narrow the date range, the fields or the accounts.
You do, with your Windsor.ai plan. Meteor does not resell the service, and Met does not charge for the queries your Met makes to Windsor.ai.
