TikTok Ads and Meteor AI agents
Connect TikTok Ads to a WhatsApp Met: read your campaign performance, audiences, catalogs and pixels with TikTok's official MCP.
How does TikTok Ads connect to Meteor?
With the TikTok Ads ready connector, your Met reads your ad account through TikTok for Business's official MCP server, authorized once with your account and with no developer credentials. It pulls performance reports, your Smart+ campaigns, ad groups and ads, your audiences, your product catalogs and your pixels. It arrives in read only mode: creating campaigns or ads, changing budget or status and running additional tools start switched off, and the admin decides whether to turn any on. It is not the same as Met's TikTok connector that publishes organic videos: this one is for ads. Ad spend runs on your TikTok account.
What it automates
What a Meteor Met does with TikTok Ads
Answer how your ads are doing
You ask the Met on WhatsApp how your TikTok ads did this week. It pulls the account's performance report and replies with the figures TikTok returns.
Review Smart+ campaigns and ads
The Met pulls your Smart+ campaigns, ad groups and ads to tell you which ones are active and how they are set up, without opening the ads manager.
Confirm the pixel is tracking
The Met lists your pixels and custom conversions, to check the account has a way to measure purchases or sign ups on your website.
Look up catalog and audiences
The Met pulls your catalog's products and sets and your saved audiences, to prepare the next campaign with what you already have in TikTok.

The limits
What the TikTok Ads integration does NOT do
We would rather say it here than have you find out during rollout.
-
It does not create campaigns or spend budget with the initial setup. Creating, changing budget or status and running additional tools start switched off; the admin decides whether to turn any on.
-
It does not publish organic videos. To post on your TikTok profile, Met has a different connector; this one is for ads only.
-
It does not ask you for confirmation in the chat before writing. The admin chooses in Connections which actions stay on.
-
It does not see ad accounts the connection did not authorize. It only works with the TikTok for Business accounts the connected account gives access to.
-
It does not pay for your ads. Spend runs on your TikTok ad account; Meteor does not resell the service.
Before you start
What you need to connect TikTok Ads
- 1
A TikTok for Business account with ads
The TikTok for Business account you run your ads with, with access to the ad account the Met will read. No developer credentials are needed.
- 2
Connect it in Met
In Met, open Connections → TikTok Ads → Connect. A TikTok window opens so you can sign in and authorize access to your ad accounts.
- 3
Review which actions stay on
The connector arrives in read mode. If you want the Met to create or change ads, the workspace admin turns those actions on one by one.
