Similarweb and Meteor AI agents
Connect Similarweb to a Met: visits, traffic sources, countries, audience and similar sites for any website with the official MCP.
How does Similarweb connect to Meteor?
With the Similarweb ready connector, your Met queries Similarweb data for any website with the account the admin authorizes: visits and engagement over time, traffic by marketing channel, rank, countries, popular pages, referring sites, estimated monthly paid search spend, technologies, demographics and similar sites. It also compares the audience of two to five sites and reads an app's store rank. You need a Similarweb plan with API and MCP access, and every query spends data credits.
What it automates
What a Meteor Met does with Similarweb
Measure a competitor
You name a competitor to the Met and it replies with their monthly visits, which channels and countries their traffic comes from, compared with your own site.
Find where to advertise
The Met lists the sites that send traffic to your competitors and the ones their audience also visits, so you know which media or partners to show up in.
Understand who you sell to
The Met brings the age, gender and countries of a site's audience, and tells you how much audience it shares with other sites in your category.
See how much competitors spend on ads
The Met estimates a site's monthly paid search spend and the ad networks that send it traffic, to put your budget in context.

The limits
What the Similarweb integration does NOT do
We would rather say it here than have you find out during rollout.
-
It does not give exact figures for someone else's site. Similarweb data are estimates; for your own site's real visits, your own analytics is the source.
-
It does not work with any plan. Similarweb requires a subscription with API and MCP access: the API-only, Business or Enterprise plans.
-
It does not query for free. Every query spends data credits like an API response, and a complex question that pulls a lot of data spends more.
-
It does not change anything in your account. All the tools in this listing read Similarweb data.
-
It does not pay your Similarweb plan. Usage runs on your account and credits; Meteor does not resell the service.

Frequently asked questions
Questions about Similarweb and Meteor
Yes, of any site Similarweb has measured. They are Similarweb estimates, not the site owner's analytics data.
It depends on the question and how much data the answer pulls. Similarweb charges the MCP with the same data credits as its API.
Yes. The audience overlap tool compares two to five sites, and the Met can check each one's metrics and put them side by side.
You do, with your Similarweb plan and credits. Met does not charge for the queries your Met makes to Similarweb.
