Resend and Meteor AI agents
Connect Resend to a WhatsApp Met: send emails with your templates from your domain, check their delivery and manage contacts with the official MCP.
How does Resend connect to Meteor?
With the Resend ready connector, your WhatsApp Met sends emails from your company's Resend account, authorized once with OAuth. It uses your templates, checks whether an email was delivered, reads the emails your domain receives and registers contacts in your segments and subscription topics. If the admin leaves it on, it also builds and sends broadcasts and sends events that trigger your automations. It is Resend's official server: usage runs on your plan, and the API key, domain creation, email cancellation and delete actions start switched off.
What it automates
What a Meteor Met does with Resend
Email what the customer asked for on WhatsApp
When the person asks for the catalog, the quote or the instructions by email, the Met uses your template and sends the email from your domain, with the attachment if needed.
Confirm whether the email arrived
If the customer says they got nothing, the Met looks up that email in Resend and tells them its delivery status, so they check spam or fix the address.
Register the contact in your subscription topics
The Met creates the contact, adds it to a segment and adjusts the topics they want to be subscribed to, based on what they said in the conversation.
Trigger an automation
If the admin leaves it on, the Met sends a contact event, for example "asked for a demo", and your Resend automation takes it from there.

The limits
What the Resend integration does NOT do
We would rather say it here than have you find out during rollout.
-
It does not create API keys or domains until the admin turns that on: those actions start switched off, as do cancelling emails and every delete action.
-
It does not send from a domain that is not verified in your Resend account. The sender comes from your sending domains.
-
It does not ask for confirmation in the chat before sending an email. The admin chooses in Connections which actions stay on.
-
It does not design your templates with this page: creating and editing them exists on the server, but it is not included.
Before you start
What you need to connect Resend
- 1
A Resend account with a verified domain
You need a Resend account with at least one verified sending domain and, if you will use templates, your templates published.
- 2
Connect it in Met
In Met, open Connections → Resend → Connect. A Resend window opens so you can sign in and authorize Met. Then you choose which actions stay on.

Questions about Resend and Meteor
From a verified domain in your Resend account. The Met's skill says which sender to use, for example your company's support address.
The action exists on the server, but it starts switched off, as do listing keys and creating domains. It is only used if the admin turns it on.
Yes, with Resend broadcasts to a segment. For an email to a single person, the Met uses the regular send.
You do, with your own Resend plan. Meteor does not resell Resend: the connector uses your company's account and its limits.
