Pendo and Meteor AI agents

Connect Pendo to a Met: query accounts, product usage, guides and surveys, and log your customers' feedback, with the official MCP.

How does Pendo connect to Meteor?

With the Pendo ready-made connector, your Met queries the product data in your Pendo subscription with the account the admin authorizes. It looks up accounts and visitors, reads their recent activity, measures app usage, checks how your guides, NPS surveys and session recordings are doing, and reads the feedback and ideas your customers left. If a Pendo admin turns on the write tools, it also logs new feedback, creates an idea and links them. It is the official Pendo server for the US region, and usage runs on your Pendo subscription.

What it automates

What a Meteor Met does with Pendo

Log what a customer asks for

When a customer asks in the chat for a feature that does not exist, the Met checks whether a similar idea already exists, logs the request as feedback for their account and links it to that idea. It needs the write tools turned on in Pendo.

Learn how an account uses the app

Before a renewal call, the Met finds the account, reads the metadata fields you have, such as ARR or renewal date, and brings its app usage for the period.

Read how NPS is doing

The Met lists your surveys, brings the period's NPS score and reads the responses from people who left a comment, to summarize what detractors ask for.

Check whether a guide works

The Met finds the welcome guide, compares it with the others by views and completions and tells you how many people dismiss it.

The limits

What the Pendo integration does NOT do

We would rather say it here than have you find out during rollout.

Before you start

What you need to connect Pendo

  1. 1

The MCP enabled in your Pendo subscription

A subscription admin goes to Settings, Subscription settings, AI access and turns on Pendo MCP server (read-only tools). To log feedback and ideas, they also turn on Pendo MCP server (write tools).

  2. 2

    Connect it in Met

In Met, open Connections → Pendo → Connect. A Pendo window opens so you can sign in and authorize Met. Then you choose which actions stay on.

Frequently asked questions

Questions about Pendo and Meteor

Yes, if a Pendo admin turned on the write tools and the action stays on in Connections. Pendo asks for a title, a description, the app ID and at least one account or visitor.

This connector does not: it uses the US region URL. Pendo publishes a different URL for US1, EU, Japan and Australia, and one connection does not cross regions.

This page does not list those actions. Pendo's server has tools to change a guide's state or audience, and in Met they start turned off until the admin turns them on in Connections.

You do, with your own Pendo subscription. Meteor does not resell Pendo: the connector uses your company's account and what your subscription includes, such as NPS or Guides Pro.
