Notion and Meteor AI agents
Connect Notion to a WhatsApp Met: search pages, query databases, create rows and leave comments for your team through the official MCP server.
How does Notion connect to Meteor?
With the Notion ready connector, your WhatsApp Met reads and writes in your company's Notion workspace using the account the admin authorizes. It searches for a page or a database, opens it in full and queries its rows, so it answers about the returns policy, a price or the opening hours with what your team wrote, not from memory. If you turn it on, it also creates pages or rows, updates them and leaves comments to alert someone on the team. It is Notion's official server: usage runs on your Notion plan, and delete actions start switched off until the admin turns them on.
What it automates
What a Meteor Met does with Notion
Answer with what your team already wrote in Notion
When a customer asks about the returns policy, opening hours or a price, your Met searches Notion for the page or database, opens it and answers with that content. If you edit the page, the answer changes without touching the Met.
Log the customer's request in a database
If you turn it on, the Met creates a row in the database your team uses for requests, with the person's name, phone number and request, and updates it later when the status changes.
Alert someone on the team with a comment
The Met leaves a comment on the request page or the customer page so the person in charge sees it in Notion, with a summary of what was said on WhatsApp.
Share a file that lives in Notion
If the PDF catalog or the form is attached to a page, the Met asks for the signed download link and shares it in the conversation. That link expires within minutes.

The limits
What the Notion integration does NOT do
We would rather say it here than have you find out during rollout.
-
It does not ask for confirmation in the chat before writing to Notion. The admin chooses in Connections which actions stay on; delete actions start switched off.
-
It sees no more than the account that authorized the connection. Other people's private pages and teamspaces that account cannot open stay out of reach.
-
It does not delete permanently. Deleting sends items to the trash, up to 20 pages or databases per call, and they can be restored from there.
-
Some features depend on your Notion plan: advanced search filters, search across connected apps, queries across several databases and meeting notes need Business or Enterprise with Notion AI; editing or resolving comments needs Business or Enterprise.
-
It does not bring long lists at once: search returns up to 50 results and a database query up to 100 rows per call.
-
Server usage runs on your own Notion account and plan, and the standard Notion API request limit applies.
Before you start
What you need to connect Notion
- 1
A Notion account with access to the pages the Met will use
Any Notion plan works. Connect with an account that can see the pages and databases the Met needs, because the connector works with that account's permissions.
- 2
Connect it in Met
In Met, open Connections → Notion → Connect. A Notion window opens so you can sign in and authorize Met. Then you choose which actions stay on.
Frequently asked questions
Questions about Notion and Meteor
The same part the authorizing account can see. If you want the Met to see only the support handbook and the price table, connect with an account that only has access to those pages.
Only if the admin turns that action on, because it starts switched off. Even when it is on, deleting sends the page to the Notion trash, where it can be restored.
Not to search, open, create or update pages. You do for the features Notion reserves for Business or Enterprise with Notion AI, such as search across connected apps or queries over several databases at once.
You do, with your own Notion plan. Meteor does not resell Notion: the connector uses your company's account and follows the limits Notion sets for that account.
