Avoma and Meteor AI agents
Connect Avoma to a WhatsApp Met: look up meetings, notes and transcripts, and record the outcome of each meeting with the official MCP.
How does Avoma connect to Meteor?
With the Avoma ready connector, your WhatsApp Met looks up the meetings Avoma recorded in your account, authorized once by the admin. It lists the meetings in a date range, opens one with its attendees, pulls its notes with key points, decisions and action items, or the full transcript with who spoke and when. It can also write back to Avoma: it sets the meeting outcome, purpose or privacy with the options your organization already defined. It is the official Avoma server: usage runs on your Avoma account and plan.
What it automates
What a Meteor Met does with Avoma
Answer what was agreed in the meeting
The customer asks on WhatsApp what came out of yesterday's call. The Met finds the meeting by date and attendees, pulls its notes and replies with the decisions and action items Avoma recorded.
Find an exact phrase in the transcript
When the precise detail matters, such as a price or a date said out loud, the Met opens the transcript and quotes what each person said and when.
Record the outcome without opening Avoma
When the salesperson tells the Met how the meeting ended, the Met lists your organization's outcome options and sets the right one on that meeting.
Tell the owner how the team is doing
The owner asks on WhatsApp for a monthly summary and the Met replies with the team's usage metrics and the scorecard evaluation results.

The limits
What the Avoma integration does NOT do
We would rather say it here than have you find out during rollout.
-
It does not record or join meetings. Recordings, transcripts and notes are produced by Avoma; the connector only looks them up.
-
It does not ask for confirmation in the chat before writing. The admin decides in Connections whether the three actions that change a meeting stay on: outcome, purpose and privacy.
-
It does not create new outcome or meeting type options. It uses the ones your organization already defined in Avoma.
-
It does not delete meetings or transcripts. The server has no delete actions, and it only writes the outcome, the purpose and the privacy.
-
It sees no more than the account that authorized the connection. Meetings that account cannot see in Avoma stay out of reach.
Before you start
What you need to connect Avoma
- 1
An Avoma account with recorded meetings
Your company's Avoma account, with the meetings the Met will look up. The connector acts with that account's permissions.
- 2
Connect it in Met
In Met, open Connections → Avoma → Connect. An Avoma window opens so you can sign in and authorize Met. Then you choose which actions stay on.
Frequently asked questions
Questions about Avoma and Meteor
It can pull it and quote parts. Whether to send it whole or only the agreements is up to the Met's instructions; for a customer the notes are usually enough.
Only three things about a meeting: its outcome, its purpose or type, and its privacy. Everything else it reads without changing it.
It lists the deal stages of the CRM your organization connected to Avoma. It does not move deals between stages: that is done in the CRM.
You do, with your Avoma account and plan. Meteor does not resell Avoma: the connector uses your company's account.
