invideo and Meteor AI agents
Connect invideo to a Met: open your projects, work on the editor's timeline and export the video, with invideo's official MCP.
How does invideo connect to Meteor?
With the invideo ready connector, your Met uses invideo's official MCP server on the account and workspace the admin authorizes. It lists your projects, opens one by its link and checks invideo's guide for working with it. According to invideo, through this server the agent also imports media, builds and edits the timeline, generates images, video and audio with invideo credits and exports the video, and every change shows up live in the editor. invideo does not publish the names of those tools, so this page lists only the ones we could verify.
What it automates
What a Meteor Met does with invideo
Pick up an existing project
You give the Met the project's link in the invideo editor, or the Met finds it among your projects, and you describe the change, for example trimming the first clip or changing the title.
Build a video with your own files
You upload your photos, videos or audio to the project's media panel in invideo and tell the Met which ones to use and in what order. invideo describes the agent placing them on the timeline.
Generate a missing piece
If the video is missing an image, a short shot or background audio, you describe to the Met what you need and where it goes. According to invideo, generating media uses your account's credits.
Review live and export
You open the project in the editor and see each change as it happens; you can adjust by hand. When it is ready, you ask for the export or export it yourself from the editor.
4 tools
Everything your Met can ask invideo for
Each one is a real action in the connector. You can switch off the ones you would rather it never used.
| Tool | What it does |
|---|---|
list_projects | Lists the projects in your invideo account, with the links to open them. |
get_help | Returns invideo's guide for working with projects, timelines, media and exports; with a topic, returns only that section. |
report_bug | Reports a bug to the invideo team. |
request_feature | Sends the invideo team a request for a new feature. |
The limits
What the invideo integration does NOT do
We would rather say it here than have you find out during rollout.
-
It does not generate images, video or audio for free: according to invideo, that generation uses your account's credits. Editing by hand in the invideo editor does not.
-
It does not post the video on your social media or send it on WhatsApp on its own: the result stays in invideo or in the exported file.
-
It does not work in another invideo workspace: each connection stays in the one you choose when signing in.
-
It does not upload files from your computer on its own: your media is uploaded to the project from the invideo editor's media panel.
-
It does not ask for confirmation in the chat before changing the timeline. The admin chooses in Connections which actions stay on.
Before you start
What you need to connect invideo
- 1
An invideo account
You need an invideo account with the workspace where your projects are. If you are going to generate media, your invideo plan needs credits.
- 2
Connect it in Met
In Met, open Connections → invideo → Connect. An invideo window opens so you can sign in, choose the workspace and authorize Met. Then you choose which actions stay on.
Frequently asked questions
Questions about invideo and Meteor
Generating images, video and audio does, according to invideo, and how much depends on the model and settings. Editing by hand in the invideo editor is free.
Yes. Changes show up live in the invideo editor, in the same project, and you can review and adjust them by hand.
Because invideo publishes the names of those four. The server has more to edit, generate and export, but their names are not published and only what is verified goes here.
You do, with your own invideo plan and credits. Meteor does not resell invideo: the connector uses your company's account.
