Constant Contact and Meteor AI agents
Connect Constant Contact to a WhatsApp Met: build email and social drafts, create lists and check whether a campaign is ready to schedule.
How do I build a Constant Contact campaign from WhatsApp?
With the Constant Contact ready connector, your Met creates draft email campaigns with full HTML and your account's default sender, shows you the preview and checks whether the campaign is ready to schedule. It also creates social posts as drafts, uploads images to your library and creates contact lists. No action sends the campaign: sending is scheduled in Constant Contact. Editing a campaign, a post, a list or the account's physical address starts switched off, as does bulk contact import. Usage runs on your Constant Contact account.
What it automates
What a Meteor Met does with Constant Contact
Turn the WhatsApp promotion into an email
You tell the Met the promotion, the audience and the action you want. The Met builds the draft campaign with full HTML, shows you the preview and checks whether it is ready to schedule. You schedule the send in Constant Contact.
Leave a social post ready
With the text and an image, the Met creates the post as a draft. The image can be uploaded to your Constant Contact library first so it displays correctly.
Check that the account can send
Before building the campaign, the Met checks that the account has a confirmed sender and the physical address Constant Contact requires in every email footer.
Create a campaign's list
The Met creates a new contact list for a promotion, so your team can use it when scheduling the send.
16 tools
Everything your Met can ask Constant Contact for
Each one is a real action in the connector. You can switch off the ones you would rather it never used.

The limits
What the Constant Contact integration does NOT do
We would rather say it here than have you find out during rollout.
-
It does not send campaigns: no connector action sends an email. The draft stays in Constant Contact and sending is scheduled there.
-
It does not ask for confirmation in the chat before creating a draft. The admin chooses in Connections which actions stay on; editing campaigns, posts, lists and the address starts switched off.
-
It does not import contacts out of the box: bulk import starts switched off. Constant Contact also only accepts United States numbers for SMS and does not support international phones.
-
It does not report on the campaign if the HTML lacks the tracking image Constant Contact requires in the email body.
-
It does not use an unconfirmed sender: only the account's confirmed addresses work as sender and reply-to.
Before you start
What you need to connect Constant Contact
- 1
A Constant Contact account
The account, its senders and its physical address are set up in Constant Contact. The connector works with whatever that account already has.
- 2
Connect it in Met
In Met, open Connections → Constant Contact → Connect. A Constant Contact window opens so you can sign in and authorize Met. Then you choose which actions stay on.
Frequently asked questions
Questions about Constant Contact and Meteor
No. No connector action sends: the Met leaves the campaign as a draft, checks whether it is ready and gives you the link to schedule it in Constant Contact.
Creating posts starts switched on, as drafts or scheduled on your profiles. If you do not want the Met to schedule posts, the admin can turn that action off in Connections.
Because the Constant Contact server marks those edits as destructive, so they start switched off. The admin decides whether to turn it on.
You do, with your own Constant Contact plan. Meteor does not resell Constant Contact: the connector uses your company's account.
