Register candidates who apply on WhatsApp in Manatal
An AI agent registers in Manatal whoever applies on WhatsApp, with their experience and education, and matches them to the job you name.
How do I get the candidates who write to me on WhatsApp into Manatal without copying their details?
A Met connected to Manatal answers whoever writes to your WhatsApp to apply for a job. It tells them what the job is about with what your team wrote in Manatal, asks for their details, checks they are not already registered, creates them as a candidate and adds their work history and education. It then matches them to that job and leaves a note with what was discussed for the recruiter. If the candidate asks again, the Met checks their match and tells them which stage they are in. Your team still does the selection in Manatal.
What starts it
When the customer writes
It starts when someone writes to your WhatsApp to apply for a job, for example from an ad that mentions it. There is no trigger to configure: the Met assigned to the line answers that conversation, even though the person writing is a candidate and not a customer.
Nothing to set up. The Met assigned to that channel picks up the conversation and runs the procedure inside it.

Customer service team
This is not a named, seeded Met. It is the Met that already answers your company's or agency's WhatsApp line, with Manatal connected. The person writing here is a candidate, not a customer, and its work ends when that person is registered and matched to the job.

5 steps · 10 tools
The procedure, step by step
Each step shows the tool that runs. They belong to the real connector: if one of them stopped existing, this page would not build.
- 1
Tell what the job is about
The Met searches Manatal for the job the person mentions, among the ones your team named in its instructions, opens it and tells them what it requires and where it is, with what Manatal says and not from memory.
- 2
Check whether they exist and create the candidate
The Met searches for the person by email or phone. If they are already registered, it continues with that profile; if not, it creates them as a candidate with the name, contact and other details they gave in the conversation.
- 3
Fill in their experience and education
The Met records on the profile the jobs and studies the person described, so the recruiter does not have to ask for them again.
- 4
Match them to the job and leave a note
The Met matches the candidate to the job, which creates the match in the pipeline, and leaves a note on their profile with what was discussed in the chat and that they came through WhatsApp.
- 5
Tell which stage they are in
If the candidate asks again in the same conversation, the Met checks their match and the stage catalog and tells them where they are, with what Manatal reports.
Before you start
What you need ready
The Met solves none of these for you. If one is missing, the automation stops there.
-
Manatal connected in Met
In Met, open Connections, then Manatal, then Connect. A Manatal window opens so you can sign in and authorize Met. According to Manatal, MCP is on its Enterprise Plus plan.
-
The jobs named in the instructions
Your team writes in the Met's instructions which jobs this line offers, so it does not offer other jobs that are open in Manatal.
-
Creating and matching candidates turned on
The workspace admin checks in the connector that creating candidates, adding experience, education and notes, and matching to a job stay on.
The limits
What this automation does NOT solve
Better said here than discovered halfway through the rollout.
-
It does not merge duplicate profiles that already existed in Manatal. If the search returns two profiles for the same person, the Met continues with one and your team cleans up the other in Manatal.
-
It does not move the candidate between stages or drop them. Your team decides and does that in Manatal.
-
It does not upload to Manatal the resume the person sends to the chat. It records the details the person wrote.
-
It does not ask for confirmation in the chat before creating the candidate. The control is which actions the workspace admin keeps on.
