Post a job on Upwork from WhatsApp and review the proposals that come in

Tell an AI agent on WhatsApp which freelancer you need: it checks rates, posts the job on Upwork and sums up the proposals that come in.

How do I post a job on Upwork and review proposals without opening the platform?

You write to your Met "I need a designer to make my logo and launch pieces". The Met checks reference rates on Upwork for that kind of work, posts the job with what you told it and confirms the posting. Days later you ask "who applied?" and the Met lists the proposals, opens each freelancer's profile and sums up what their proposal and profile say. If you like someone, the Met writes to them on Upwork with your questions. Offers and contracts start switched off in the connector: you close the hire on Upwork.

What starts it

When someone asks for it

It starts when the owner or someone on the team asks the Met on WhatsApp to post a job, or asks about the proposals. The Met does not post or answer anything on its own.

A manual task: someone on the team runs it with a button, or asks the Met for it in chat.

Who runs it

Internal Met that helps you hire freelancers

This is not a named, seeded Met. It is an internal Met with Upwork connected, for the owner or the agency that hires per project: it is done when the job is posted or when it sums up the proposals and writes to the freelancer you chose.

The procedure, step by step

Each step shows the tool that runs. They belong to the real connector: if one of them stopped existing, this page would not build.

  1. 1

    Check reference rates

Before posting, the Met checks Upwork's rate data for that kind of work and tells you what to expect, so the budget you set is realistic.

  2. 2

    Post the job

With what you told it, the Met posts the job on Upwork: what you need, by when and the budget you approved. This action starts switched on and leaves the job visible on Upwork.

  3. 3

    Confirm how the posting looks

The Met pulls the job posting to confirm it has the right text and budget, and sends you the summary on WhatsApp.

  4. 4

List the proposals that came in

When you ask, the Met lists the proposals your job received, so you know how many people applied and what each one proposes.

  5. 5

    Review each freelancer's profile

The Met opens the profiles of the applicants and sums up what each one says, so you choose who to move forward with.

  6. 6

Write to the one you liked

If someone convinces you, the Met sends them a message on Upwork with your questions, for example their timing or whether they can show a similar example. The message goes out from your account.

FAQ

Questions about this automation

Ask the Met for it: have it show you the text in the chat before posting. Otherwise it posts as soon as you ask, because the action starts switched on.

The message goes out from your Upwork account. If you want that said, write it in the Met's skill.

Yes. The connector has tools to search freelancers and invite them to your job; this procedure starts from the proposals that come in on their own.

You do, with your Upwork account: rates and payments run through it. Meteor does not resell Upwork.
