Schedule a sales live on your networks with Restream from WhatsApp and see how many watched

Ask on WhatsApp for a sales live: an AI agent schedules it in Restream with your networks as destinations and later tells you how many watched.

How do I schedule a sales live on several networks at once without opening each one?

You write to your Met "schedule a live on Thursday at 7 in the evening to show the new collection, on my usual channels". The Met checks your connected channels in Restream and whether any has access problems, creates the scheduled event with its title and description, connects each channel as a destination and, on the platforms that allow it, creates the scheduled broadcast there so your followers see it announced. It confirms what is ready and which channel needs one more detail. After the live you ask how it went and it pulls the viewers per channel. You run the stream yourself from the Restream studio or your streaming software.

What starts it

When someone asks for it

It starts when someone on the team asks the Met on WhatsApp to schedule a live, or asks how one went. The Met does not stream or schedule anything on its own.

A manual task: someone on the team runs it with a button, or asks the Met for it in chat.

Who runs it

Internal Met that schedules your live streams

Social team

This is not a named, seeded Met. It is an internal Met with Restream connected, for the owner or the agency that runs sales lives: it is done when the event is scheduled with its destinations, or when it gives you the live's viewers.

What you need connected

6 steps · 6 tools

The procedure, step by step

Each step shows the tool that runs. They belong to the real connector: if one of them stopped existing, this page would not build.

  1. 1

    Check your connected channels

The Met lists the channels connected to your Restream account, with their platform and name, to know on which networks it can announce the live.

  2. 2

    Check for access problems

Before scheduling, the Met checks whether any channel has access problems with its platform. If one fails, it tells you so you reconnect it in Restream.

  3. 3

    Create the scheduled event

The Met creates the event with the title, description and start time you gave. If you gave no title, it asks, because some platforms require one to connect the channel.

  4. 4

Connect each network as a destination

The Met connects each channel as a destination of the event, with the settings each platform asks for. If a channel needs one more detail, it asks you and retries.

  5. 5

Announce the live on each platform

On the platforms that allow it, the Met creates the event's scheduled broadcast, so your followers see it announced before you start. This action publishes the announcement on your networks.

  6. 6

    Report how many watched

After the live, the Met pulls the event's viewer analytics with totals per channel and tells you which network brought the most audience.

What you need ready

The Met solves none of these for you. If one is missing, the automation stops there.

FAQ

Questions about this automation

Yes. The connector has a tool to reschedule the event. Clearing its time entirely starts switched off.

Disconnecting a destination only removes it inside Restream. It does not delete or change anything on the platform itself.

Yes. Restream can create an event from a recording or a stored video. This procedure schedules a new live, but the steps are similar.

You do, with your Restream plan. Meteor does not resell Restream: the connector uses your business's account.
