Pause or change the budget of your Meta ads from WhatsApp

Ask on WhatsApp how your Facebook and Instagram ads are doing: an AI agent shows you performance and pauses or adjusts the budget.

How do I pause a Facebook ad or change its budget from WhatsApp, without opening Ads Manager?

You text your Met on WhatsApp "how are the ads doing this week?". The Met finds your ad account, lists the campaigns with their status and budget, and pulls each one's performance: spend, reach, clicks, cost per result and conversations started. If one is not working, it pauses it as soon as you ask and spending stops right away. If you want to give more to the one doing well, it reviews its setup, tells you the new amount and changes it only when you confirm; if the increase is over 20 %, it warns you first that this resets Meta's algorithm learning.

What starts it

When someone asks for it

It starts when someone on the team asks the Met on WhatsApp how the ads are doing or asks it to pause one or change its budget. Each adjustment is on request.

A manual task: someone on the team runs it with a button, or asks the Met for it in chat.

Who runs it

Internal Met that watches your Meta ads

Social team

This is not a named, seeded Met. It is an internal Met with Meta Ads connected, for the owner or the agency that runs the ads: it is done when it gave you the performance and the campaign is paused or on the budget you confirmed.

The procedure, step by step

Each step shows the tool that runs. They belong to the real connector: if one of them stopped existing, this page would not build.

  1. 1

    Find the account and campaigns

The Met lists the ad accounts you can access, with their currency, and your account's campaigns with their objective, status and budget, to know what is running today.

  2. 2

    Pull the performance

The Met pulls each campaign's spend, impressions, clicks, reach, cost per result and conversations started for the window you asked about, such as the last 7 days, and sums it up for you.

  3. 3

    Pause what is not working

If you ask it to pause a campaign, ad set or ad, the Met pauses it and spending stops right away. It can be undone: it can be switched back on whenever you decide.

  4. 4

    Review before changing the budget

Before touching the budget, the Met opens the campaign's full setup: objective, budget, targeting and status. That way it does not overwrite something someone set on purpose.

  5. 5

Change the budget with your confirmation

The Met tells you the new daily budget and the campaign, and changes it only when you confirm. If the increase is over 20 %, it warns you first that this resets the algorithm's learning.

FAQ

Questions about this automation

Not on its own. Changing the budget requires you to confirm the amount, and reactivating something paused requires it too, because that is what puts money back to work.

Because raising it abruptly resets Meta's algorithm learning. If the increase is over 20 %, the Met tells you before changing it.

Yes. Performance can be requested by campaign, ad set or ad, and by day within the window you ask about.

Yes. It reads, pauses and adjusts any campaign in the ad account, not just WhatsApp conversation ones.
